the downside is (IMO) that it will have the interchangeable manipulators that the late kits have rather than the ones that are articulated. not a big issue though, this kit will be alot better than the older aile strike, with the updated proportions, both for the strike gundam itself and the aile striker backpack
Considering the old kit used old type of articulated hands, I don't see that as bad change. I have two kits with these old hands - original Strike and Wing Gundam EW. Both can't hold anything.
The articulated hands are only for the big UC suits I'm afraid. Nu Gundam has them, Sinanju Stein has them and the Jesta coming up is going to have them.
The OP meant articulated hands of 2002 (three fingers as one part/index finger/thumb). Mind that these were even less articulated then hands of most of 2-3 year old MGs hands.
