This is OVA version, not manga version. I don't know what factor for sinanjo so it get 'revised', but will they add rocket bazooka in this version?
ReplyDeleteGG would put some fingers out of his ass instead of preparing adds, he would have list the différences. And yes, bazooka will be in.
DeleteMilk it Bandai, MILK IT!
ReplyDeletecan someone kindly enlighten me whats the difference between the ver.ka and the manga/OVA ?
ReplyDeletebtw i don't think bandai will just revised to add 1 or 2 weapon considering the same/similar price ?
"Slightly" different sleeves design and a different inner frame for the wing booster as seen in ep 2 with addition bazooka and possibly some new toys that will be added in ep 6 coming up this year. Or it may includes displaying accessories like display base or something similar.
DeleteThat's my guess
or its the exact same kit but with diferent marking seals...
DeleteSome vendors at my local shops that regularly pPO's, told us that it has LED lighting fixture. I just don't know where?
DeleteThe difference between the OVA Ver. and the Ver. Ka. is that:
Delete1. OVA Version's inner frame is made of Polystyrene while Ver. Katoki is made of ABS Plastic. Polystyrene is lighter and much durable compared to ABS. The OVA Ver. is slightly lighter than the Ver. Katoki, approx. 10 grams lighter (w/out the weapons)
2. Color (Red). OVA Ver. is more flat and Ver. Ka. is most likely more shiny. Gray inner frame is darker in OVA.
3. Decals. (Water slides) A much richer Gold for the black armor for the OVA, in Ver. Ka., it is more like yellowish gold. There are more rub transfer decals included in the Ver. Ka. and lesser for the OVA Ver.
4. Weapons. The Bazooka is already included in the OVA Ver. where as for the Ver. Ka. it was sold separately, online exclusive I think or as a freebie when you buy the Manga.
5. Articulations. Exactly the same articulations although the Ver. Ka. having the ABS inner frame has the edge in dealing with weight issues, ABS makes the joints stiffer and hard possible to break if not handled carefully, compared to Polystyrene which is softer but more flexible material.
"This iteration of MG version, is based on the Ver. Ka. frame, and will be adjusted to the anime specifications. It will also come with the Sinanju-use bazooka."
ReplyDeleteNot Manga version.
I don't think there are much difference between Manga and OVA Version of Sinanju. Don't think is worth to buy this
ReplyDeleteMost likely the color will be a bit brighter as it is in the OVA, and that's about it. The y should have done this as a limited, since people will already have the manga version.
ReplyDeletebazooka and PG hands pls!
ReplyDeleteits like when unicorn came out with ova version (different box art, blue beam saber, optional ms cage at a higher price.
ReplyDeleteYeah except they got the beam all wrong for the unicorn, less decals is good news?
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for suiton's comment
ReplyDeleteSinanju got an update but his 2.0s isn't yet here, hahahaha!
Deleteme too waiting for those dickhead.. bhahaha
Deleteit says ANIME VERSION in the ad. GG if you can't read JP, get someone who can!
ReplyDelete(Are you just Trollin') -___-
DeleteNah man, if you can read a little katakana, it says that it's Anime version
Deleteova is anime. so they're not wrong. you just went retard bro.
DeleteTop anonymous is right. It said anime ver there. It's the same thing but if GG wants to label this, at least give it the exact name mentioned in the source, not giving it a slightly different name.
DeleteDude OVA basically anime too. Anime for animation and OVA for Original Video Animation. The difference? the're both anime.
DeleteThe only thing i hope they remake, the STICKERS and WATER DECALS! Use real plastic parts to snap it into the chest symbol and the rest.. gladly buy a new one.
ReplyDeleteDitto to the user above.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see the 3.0 hands and maybe it will have bigger thrusters? Compared to the OVA the thrusters on the MG we have now are kind of small in comparison.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, its thrusters will be the same as Nu and Sinanju Stein's that has separate plastic parts underneath.
DeleteLet me guess, these is what I think Bandai do for this Kit:
ReplyDelete1. [PG]-like Manipulators.
2. Rocket Bazooka.
3. A slightly different red color schemes, and Gunmetal-ish coating for Inner frames (just like Unicorn OVA).
4. Waterslide decals.
Different and lesser decals
Delete5. LED mono-eye.
Deleteyeah, LED mono eyes should be great add...
DeleteMake sure to make the gold vents gold this time Bandai! :D But seriously, this is taking the piss, and I'm still going to buy it.....
ReplyDeleteAs MG7s seem to arrive on a monthly basis, that means that this is going to take up a spot a NEW MG could have been in.
Oh wait, it says March in that picture, guess it's coming out the same month as the REZEL recolor. I think I'll go for the rezel unless there's some announcement that this kit has something awesome about it we don't know yet.
DeleteThe Ver.Ka Sinanju is good, but definitely could be improved. There could always be less reliance on stickers - they should be able to find a way to make the crests looks better without them (or painting, which was difficult on those narrow raised surfaces). I'm also not a big fan of the shoulder joints (one of mine broke). Hopefully it will have at least some improvements, like the Unicorn anime ver. did.
ReplyDeleteI'm still really hoping for a MG Geara Zulu. Maybe that will come next?
I hope it has a complete armor re-do along with the emblems, the Sinanju in the OVA seems a bit "bulkier: and sharper than my MG. Seems like a stretch though.
ReplyDeleteI read the word "bazooka", yes it will include a bazooka!
ReplyDeletedamn dude, i can't read kanji, is it in kanji or katakana since i don't see any bazooka in there?
DeleteBandai is only releasing this because they know there are suckers like me who will go for it!
ReplyDeleteWhat about the dumber who just got his ver. Ka. one? commit Seppuku?!
DeleteHate to buying same thing twice !!!
so will there be very minute changes like most of them unicorns? haha. ran out of more ideas for the latter i guess..
ReplyDeleteNice one Bandai! Now I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to put out an OVA of Full Armor Unicorn as well. No I am not complaining, since I kinda knew it would end up like this(since you released an OVA version of the Unicorn hehe)
ReplyDeleteas for the translation yes that would be:
ver. ka frame adjusted to OVA specs.
Bazooka, check.
5,700 Yen
Doesn't say anything about the decals but it's a given that it will be simplified (Thank God)
Different color shades, maybe...
minor parts adjustments I suppose... (like ver.ka unicorn's waist and backleg armor)
In other news, MARCH IS GONNE BE EPIC.
7,500 YEN sorry folks! (someone's excited)
Deletecaught off guard with Nu ver ka, maybe FA Unicorn OVA will make heart attack...
DeleteI am holding off for so long. see my first Unicorn kit is the HD Color Unicorn with the MS Cage in it, and being the OC freak that I am, I fought the urge to grab Sinanju and F.A.U. ver.Ka.
DeleteI kinda knew they will be realeasing OVA versions soon, and so came this day.
Sinanju OVA down, F.A. Unicorn OVA to go. can't wait for more updates! and for EP 6!
is this version cheaper than ver.ka?
ReplyDeleteNo it's more expensive, since it seems to come with the Sinanju bazooka.
DeleteI think with this kit, it's a given that it will have improvements. Many people have problems with parts breaking on the Ver Ka, maybe Bandai can fix them from the experience with the Ver Ka and the Sinanju Stein Ver Ka.
If they are still going to use stickers for the gold/yellow designs, I hope they use the same stickers that Nu Ver Ka used. Those stickers are awesome
I'm looking forward to hearing more about this kit
glad i hold off on the ver ka, now i could get this along with the sinanju stein. sweet!
ReplyDeleteOnly way I'll shell out the green for this is the 1 in a million shot Bandai spruced up the gold trim and made it separate parts. I'm all for painting and detailing my kits, but the all the gold crests and sleeves trim...hell with that
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna continue until EP 7 in released I feel. Unicorn and Sinanju 2.0 by then.
ReplyDeleteBandia! You have gundam series' that need attention!! If you aren't gonna commission a NEW animated series or continue some that have been left behind/HD remake/localize certain older series ' right now than you could at least STOP milking Unicorn and show the likes of X, TurnA, G-Unit some MG love!!!
LOL at unicorn and sinanju 2.0? are you serious? those new MGs won't be givent 2.0 versions -_-
DeleteMaddjakd. Why would bandai waste time making kits for series that are finished when there is an episode of Unicorn being released in 5 weeks?
DeleteWhen Destiny HD starts showing then we will be getting too many Destiny kits.
Bandai always make kits for whatever animation is currently airing.
yep...need MG X, DX, Turn X, Wing 0 ver. TV...there are too many great model left behind, no need always making from new series, gundam lover will always love gundam no matter how old the series... so sad with sinanju stein and "THE FAIL" HG Rozen Zulu .... T_T
DeleteDamn can't read kanji, but it definitely says that it's from the anime version.
ReplyDeletewhat's next!? MG Nu Gundam HWS ver. KA!? damn youuuuuuuuuuuu bandaaaaiiiii. my wallet is already raped by the Nu Ver. Ka
ReplyDeleteMaybe the wing-like verniers can tilt downward..
ReplyDeleteNo PG hands based off of the new prototype pictures :(
ReplyDeleteStill gonna buy it though LOL
lol looks the same to me just has the baz..
ReplyDeleteI see gold seals, i'll keep my Ver KA.
ReplyDeletesame bazooka as the sinanju stein ?
ReplyDeleteso basically is the same sinanju with a bazooka,
ReplyDeleteThere is a few words stating they will use new ABS plastic material for the inner frame so it can be custom paint. I understand why.. since my last sinanju's joints shattered when i custom paint it. So i m not the only unlucky one after all?
ReplyDeleteIt also reads new marking (decal)and package design.
DeleteWhat's the deal with the Ver. Ka innner frame? I never get to build my Sinanju Ver. Ka which is siting on shelf.
It's saying the inner frame will be changed from ABS to a material which can be painted, so it's probably not ABS anymore. I wonder how will the new material hold up as a new inner frame (eg tight? loose? durable?)
DeleteSay new ABS material use for paiNting possibility. The largest words say true red color MS...
DeleteMeaning they change the inner frame material, use more red looking color and add a bazooka. that is all for this new OVA VER.
So they mean we should buy this so we can have a alternate similar color sinanju without having to paint it... however, there are new material which encourage us to paint it..... lol..
So it looks just like the HGUC kit with a Bazooka that doesn't attach to the beam rifle?
ReplyDeleteAll UNPAINTED sinanjus look bland like that.
DeleteAnd the bazooka does in fact attach to the rifle.
cmon bandai give this sinanju the new hands its not too late for it!
ReplyDeletei don't mind buying another one, but there's NO WAY i want to handpaint that damn gold all over again! talk about nightmares...oh gosh
ReplyDelete+1 Indeed
Deleteand the waist connection, what about the waist connection?
I never understood why people don't like the Sinanju waist connection. I've never had problems with mine. Every single connection on that kit is solid as all hell (minus trying to get him to hold his rifle..)
DeletePG HANDS PLEASE BANDAI!!!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the gold marks still come as stickers? or are they now molded in plastic?
ReplyDeleteI think I will buy this one if BANDAI really want to release the MG sinanju with the bazooka, and hope its gold sticker turn into a parts, hopefully
ReplyDeleteLatest pic just proved that it'll still be gold seals......pass.
ReplyDeleteIf you dont have the patience or finesse to paint the sleeves then why should Bandai make super delicate parts that most people would snap. In fact, those parts would be so delicate they would snap in the box during transit.
DeleteOh don't give him that load of bull. If Bandai actually wanted to make it work tyhey could. In an era when we have real grades that excuse holds as much water as a balloon that has been popped. They could implement it by making it one whole peice and have the black on go over the top for example, which solves the whole "the parts would be too small", though given there are many very small fragile parts in kits that could get broken but don't that holds no basis to begin with.
ReplyDeleteAnd lol at your post stinking with the "paint it or broke" attitude, not everyone paints and frankly elitists should do everyone a favour and stop acting as if they should. It's a damn MG, and a blasted expensive one at that. Painting has long since been completely unneeded for a MG (and a lot of HGs as well), and if Bandai wanted to put any real effort in to this kit they would have revised the emblems. The tech exists now, and frankly this should have been a Online Exclusive kit since it is only a recolour.
And on that note, screw bandai. Many other recolours with more new things to them are relegated to online, yet this doesn't? And they omit important design parts on other kits? Yeah, Gunpla is going down the crapper now well and truly, at this rate I expect the next MG to have all its weapons as online exclusive.
TOO MUCH HATE MY FRIEND....i wonder why you visit this site after all?!
DeleteHey dude this is a hobby. Something we do to relax and have a good time. Change hobbies if your not happy. You dont have to rain on someone else' parade.
DeleteThen just use the decals...you can paint if you want or don't paint or just don't buy the kit then if you don't like how something is handled with it. You are acting like this is a brand new kit and so you feel you are entitled to have gold chrome parts for all the gold pieces. Which would actually drive the cost up more. It would be harder to make those parts, and it is easier for bandai for the design just be apart of the chest piece. Also you can definitely use a gundam marker no problem here if you don't feel like painting.
DeleteIf you don't like it don't build it end of story. You are just lazy and expect it to be spoon fed to you.
I think if there's someone who wants the bazooka so badly why not trying to buy Sinanju stein ver.ka?it come out with the bazooka right?
ReplyDeleteAnd luckily if you already got the Sinanju ver.ka,then you will have them both with the bazooka of course, because I think Sinanju Stein doesn't need the bazooka. Its more suit to the Sinanju
My thoughts exactly. IMO the bazooka being thrown in with the stein is for those of us who have already purchased the Sinanju ver Ka.
DeleteYes totally agree with that too
DeleteBadass boxart! Simply badass!
ReplyDeleteDAMN DAT BOXARTTTTTTTT!!!
ReplyDeletebtw the red color look a bit matte-ish, looks quite good IMHO..
it seems like the gold crest still need to be painted like the ver.ka ?
What does paintable abs inner frame even mean? Werent they paintable before?
ReplyDeleteI think it's to do with the tightness of the joint of the Sinanju ver Ka, probably less tight now so you can paint it. Funny thing is they don't call it a PS frame, rather a paintable ABS frame. Does that mean they're not using the PS frame of the Stein?
DeleteHmm, makes sense. Would really like it to have the ps frame also. Unless like you said, the paintable abs IS the ps frame then YEEEE!!!
Delete@Sudheer: Actually, it's not called paintable ABS frame. The earliest text revealed said "The frame material will be changed from ABS to a paintable material". And in the recent magazine, it actually revealed that the material is none other than PS.
Delete"OVA colored variant of MG-116, inner frame materials changed from ABS to Polystyrene to allow for painting"
DeleteDamn...no new hands, oh well i havent gotten a sinanju yet, this will be my first along with stein
ReplyDeletewhere is suiton? Sinanju got update here. . .what about his age bla bla bla and exia repair bla bla bla?. .still doesn't get update yet?
ReplyDeletesuiton is a moron and every youtube and gundamguy comment it's him complaining about everything, stop buying gundams then if you
Deletere too cheap to spend $40-60 and expect it to be perfection out of the box.
Nice box art. Rozen Zulu invthe background too, here's hoping! Haha
ReplyDeleteHmm, I never really thought the bazooka fit the image of the Sinanju. It makes the Sinanju more bulky and kinda doesn't fit the speedy image.
ReplyDeleteAw! WHY NO NEW PG HANDS?! LAZY BANDAI his old hands cant really hold his gun
ReplyDeleteBecause the new hands are Federation hands, not Zeon round type hands like the Sinanju has (but not the Stein, since it isn't Zeon). This is just a re-release of the regular sinanju, with a few extras. Bandai will surely announce new PG-like Zeon styled round manipulators for something big, and make a huge deal out of it, like the very likely MG Sazabi ver Ka...
Deleteis that bazooka the same as the sinanju stein's?
ReplyDeletePretty much, its a slightly different color, but the same thing.
DeleteIs this sinanju going to get water slides decal...?
ReplyDeleteNope. Bummer huh?
DeleteSo, it comes with gold water slide decal... Interesting.
ReplyDeleteYea, just like "Ver. Ka." one. It's the same bro, cept if Bandai suddenly upgrade its quality so it'll stick better instead the "Ver. Ka." one, then I'm happy.
Deletecan anyone explain to me why the gold markings look
ReplyDeletelook like WATERSLIDE decals?
ReplyDeleteBecause they are waterslide decals just like the original Sinanju Ver.Ka had.
Deleteoriginal sinanju(ver.ka) don't have any waterslide decal
DeleteI thought the Ver.Ka had waterslide for the trims but it's just plain yellow and they also gave an optional stickers for the trims, right?
Delete@anon 5:48PM
DeleteOriginal Sinanju DOES have waterslide decals for the gold trim.
FYI, origninal ver ka gave stickers as well as waterslides. So whats the difference between this and the ver ka? the bazooka and the paintable inner frame?
ReplyDelete"Paintable abs frame" is poly? the same inner frame as the nu gundam ver ka?
ReplyDeleteonly a new bazooka and paintable inner frame...way to go bandai. This feels like a wasted master grade slot in my opinion. I'd rather spend the extra money to get the stein ver ka. and the regular sinanju ver ka.
ReplyDeleteDon't be so quick to speak. We don't have the kit yet. It might be well worth the re-release. Besides, for those that didn't get the Sinanju Ver Ka, they now have the chance to get the Sinanju with the PS frame and the bazooka.
DeleteBandai did this with the MG Unicorn as well. The MG Sinanju is more popular, so of course Sinanju would get the same treatment.
