    1. They won't release it here, dude.
Just get the blurays in a bulk order from rightstuf. It's cheaper than amazon FR and UK.

  3. I wonder what other mobile suits will feature and hopefully we get a HG version of FA Unicorn.

  4. Um anon 3 the HG unicorn gundam full armor was already announced

    1. Oh wow? Seriously man? I hope it's true and not just "Buy some HGUC Unicorn Destroys, clear green paint and aftermarket gattling guns and make your own FA".

      Delete
    2. so far there's gonna be a limited hguc unicorn with a green frame called "unicorn awakening" but nothing at all about a HGUC FA unicorn

  5. I hope the upcoming installments stop the raping of grunt units. I get it, your custom units are highly efficient death gods but I also love the appeal of faceless pilots putting up a decent fight. You know, like logically, pilots with years of training actually doing something instead of hovering in space wondering where his camera is so he can tweet a picture of Earth.

    1. Agreed, this is why I have mostly grunt suits. The Gundams are cool but they're not the army that won the war. Though there was a decent melee in ep. 4 magnificently showing the Federation's idiocy. Also in ep. 3 they seemed to be doing okay considering they were attacking a base undermanned.

  6. @Anon4

When and where was it announced?

    1. Haven't managed to find the announcement here or the net. Anon4 a link would be nice. So far there are just custom kits out there. If its real then it probably the only Unicorn gunpla I'll get. Not really a fan of lead gundams. :)

  7. As far as I know is there a Mastergrade version of the FA Unicorn already since january on sale but it is only the novel version though the OVA version could be a little bit different.

    1. Oh yeah! I want to see more Micott and Takuya in the coming episodes. They kinda disappeared after episode 3.

  9. I feel sorry for Hino and the Age crew now.

Seeing fans gush over every production image from Unicorn then trashing everything from their show must be very hard and demoralizing for the animators.

    1. They should have done a better management on how the series progressed.

Zeheart and Zera Gins combined should have been Gundam AGE's Full Frontal.

    2. Oh don't me wrong I'm not defending that show's story, just the poor schmucks doing beautiful art like this. Those guys had it hard since day one (y'know the leaked magazine fiasco). I can almost imagine the Unicon's crew laughing behind their back.

    3. Actually Full Frontal has been a pretty shallow so far. He hasn't stood out as his own character yet just being a collection of Char tropes. I hope the next few episodes show more his personality and motivations.

    1. That thing is a Jegan.

    2. I dunno why but Jegans always seem to look better in animation than models.

    3. The Jegan from Unicorn looks different from the Jegan in Char's Counterattack.

  12. Looks like Riddhe's still butthurt after getting friendzoned. Btw whats with his sudden hatred towards Banagher and Gundams in ep5? He seemed fine in eps 3 and 4..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The reason is that Mineva chose Banagher over him. If you look at the painting The Lady and the Unicorn, the lady has two choices: Lion and the Unicorn. The lady, by her own free will, chose the Unicorn over the Lion (Banshee). This whole series revolves around this painting fused with the greatness of Universal Century that started Gundam (Unicorn and Banshee, unicorn and the lion respectively). His hatred started towards the middle of Episode 4 and intensified through 5. How will that turn for the OVA? We can only wait (but I'm waiting for Rozen Zulu)!

      Delete
  13. Angelo getting the spotlight hmm... I hope he gets his due and doesn't end up shafted like Loni. Still, judging from episode 5 it looks like they're on the right track again.

Can anyone who's read the novels tell me where we are storywise? We got 2 episodes left and my fingers are crossed they can pull it off.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Gets his due? Only thing he is getting is a mind rape to bring back his memories of being sexually abused as a kid.

      Delete
    2. If that's true then pedophilia laws must be non-existent in the universal century, at least on the Zeon side haha.

Y'know what? Full Frontal sure likes filling his army with sexually abused kids (Marida, Angelo)

  14. Just to clarify, Ep. 6 is coming out on 2013 and not late 2012? Because I heard that there will be a seventh episode here on gundamguy. I hope ep. 6 will pick things up but not rush them. Ep. 4 imo was the weakest ep. so far.

  15. There's been a Master Grade release of all of the mobile suits that have been featured on the covers of the UC episodes aside from Kshatriya (which was probably too big for MG). I smell a Rozen Zulu MG next year!

    1. I can smell some HGUC Jesta Cannon.

    3. Kshatriya, too big!!?! (says MG Sazibi and The O and HG Dendrobium)

More like technical problems, being more probable, but what ever. I still have hope.

      Delete
    4. How is MG Kshatriya too big? Try MG Perfect Zeong!

I have a feeling that Bandai is going to take the long road like they did with MG The-O.

      Delete
    5. Cost/selling, my friend 4:40, Cost/selling

Try to produce a MG 1/100 Dendrobium which size a normal 10 years old kids (1.40m to be exact ) and let's see how many consumers will buy it ( and first it must fit in your room )

  16. I think it's pretty cool that the English and Japanese voice actors took pictures together. One of the awesome features of worldwide release I guess haha

  17. Darth Riddhe! Yes...yesss, let the hate flow through you!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I will approve the 7th ep if a "certain great character" is not death and a "certain shallow character" dies. Only then it will justify the need to wait 1 more year for this whole series to finish, if you want to earn more money from us, Okay, better put more efforts into it and change the improve the story.
Banshee getting owned by a Gouf Custom may be a great way to end the series, Muahhaha, just joking. But seriously, can anyone deliver a Brightslap to Riddle, that would be much appriciated.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Just read a novel summary online. I can guess what will happen this episode but I hope they go further in the story so the finale won't be rushed. Looking forward to it!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Can anyone give m an opinion about Jesta Cannon, Will it appear on future episodes and do you think will it have any HGUC treatment?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Guess Banagher's stuck in a blue collar job while Mineva's moving up in the world. I don't think this relationship's gonna work out haha

    ReplyDelete
  22. seeing mineva in that zeon outfit makes me wish haman was there

wonder if amuro will get a flash back or something in this ep?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. An Amuro cameo is always welcomed. So far we only got a picture of him in Unicorn. Though to be fair we will be seeing a lot of Amuro in HD with the Gundam :The Origin adaption, whenever that comes out.

      Delete
    2. Forget Amuro I wanna see Sayla particularly her reaction to Full Frontal! She desperately needs some more screentime post-MSG.

      Delete
    3. If Sayla didn't appear in CCA, which is more significant for her character since her freaking brother decided to drop an asteroid on Earth lol, then a Sayla cameo in UC reacting to some loser psychoframe memory clone isn't going to happen anytime soon. Amuro cameo though...hell yes.

  23. imagine the Jesta Cannon in MG format. We all know it's coming.

  24. Since this episode will take place in space what will the Jesta Cannon do? It seems like its more suited for ground combat.

    1. It will rape most of zeon's grunt suits

  25. Lego is working on a deal to possibly license the Gundam franchise from Sunrise. Hmmm

  27. "I'm the one, who doesn't give a fuck about Lego buy Gundam Franchise movie"

  28. I hope this episode varies up the pacing. It's become kinda generic since episode 4. We have an opening battle, a bit of character development, discussion of UC history/philosophy, final battle and a cliffhanger. Its not bad but I would like a bit of variety to make events less predictable.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. howmuch a cliffhanger sucks
its NEEDED untill the final episode

  29. That dickhead looks pretty emo in the Banshee. Following the path of Amuro, obviously lacking the skills and impact Amuro had on both the battlefields and people, lol.

Riddhe is a character that deserves to be scraped. He's served the story well up to this point, his later role can be replaced by other characters man, he doesn't deserve either the Banshee OR the novel ending.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. yes riddhe is a loser-bitch..

      Delete
    2. Makes me chuckle a little that Riddhe is part of the Universal Century Gundam lead pilots, joining the ranks of Amuro/Nu, Kamille/Zeta, Tobia/X3, Uso/V2 AB, etc. Riddhe would rank dead last in my book among those pantheon of pilots.

      Delete
    3. Riddhe is the realistic soldier. Always in contempt, doubtful, unsure of what he's fighting for. Buries himself in hatred for something he does not and never will understand. Amuro is the ideal of what a soldier or rather what a man should be, always having his convictions for what he believes in and fights for what is morally right.

      Delete
    4. I would rather see the Banshee given to the Byarlant Custom's pilot instead of giving such a machine to this spoiled rich boy. Seriously, that pilot would probably able to put a hole to Riddhe's cockpit before he could do anything meaningful if they were to fight one on one Delta Plus against Byarlant.

  30. whats that? new banshee armaments? i'm intrigued by that new backpack. REAR VIEW PLEASE

  31. And I thought I waited long enough before buying the Banshee. Oh well

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yeah!!! I love the Banshee all over again! What kit was shown here during the 2013 release teasers, HGUC or MG?

    ReplyDelete
  33. i hope there is a HG version coming up. I am actually waiting for the HG Banshee to be on-stock here with the local hobby store. If this is coming, I dont mind waiting for a few months.

    1. http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2012/11/gunpla-expo-world-tour-2012-japan-3.html

This is either the unicorn with the armed armor de, or a prototype of the banshee (probably the former since the other two HG's in the post are molded in the correct colors already).

Even if it is the unicorn, odds are a HG banshee w/ the new equipment will come out too.

      Delete
    2. Thanks for this even if there's no indication on the scale. Regardless this is another must buy.

      Delete
  34. Hmm, I haven't bought any of the Unicorn kits yet, but seeing how Banshee has some new equipment, I might have to cash in on this. Riddhe's Banshee is probably the last 'facelift' from novel to OVA, unless the MG Full Armor Unicorn ver. KA indicates will get ANOTHER version of the FA Unicorn aka OVA version. I can see the rage that would ensue already...
