The Tallgeese III was pretty much the exact same as the II that came out first (or vice versa, can't remember which one came out first.) The Leo(s) and this TG merely improved upon the original design.
A bit surprised they're releasing an RD form of this close to the MG's release date. Still buying it(and the MG though) most def.
Happy to see Wing's getting a shitton of love from Bandai. Now if only they'd do the same for X and G.
hi.. so im kinda new to gunpla building *but i know alot already* but i still don't know what the term "Side MS" means, can anyone define it for me? would appreciate it much thnx :)
First off, this isn't GunPla in the typical sense (i.e. GunPlaMo or Gundam Plastic Models, but I guess it is still Gundam Plastic maybe... <_<). It's a figure so you don't have to worry about building it.
Second, Robot Damashii (aka Robot Spirits) is a cross-franchise line with figures of mecha from all kinds of different anime. The "Side" refers to which anime/mecha line that particular figure is from. Ergo, "Side MS" means Gundam (as in Side Mobile Suit). It's the same as "Side AS" for Fullmetal Panic! (as in Side Arm Slave) and so on and so forth.
I have no idea why I love the Tallgeese so much (I'm not a Wing fanboy by any means; I barely remember the plot), but I do and I'm very glad to see it getting attention.
That said, I have to wonder if the release of an RD version and an MG version at around the same time will cut into the sale of either... <_< ... I know I'm getting MG just because I prefer models. I'd get the RD version, too, but I don't quite like the Tallgeese THAT much.
That Leo rifle was only seen in the first OP for Gundam Wing and not in the actual story. To me that's actually a bonus, especially for those who don't want to shell out money for the Space Leo and have the ground Leo.
Das not Tallgeese III.
ReplyDeleteTallgeese III, really? Wow... GG must have not been a Wing fan to not tell that is the first Tallgeese. The colour, the crest...
ReplyDeleteImmediately corrected to render these comments irrelevant. =.=
DeleteUnnecessarily snarky comment of the day. It was a simple mistake.
DeleteThanks for the correct guys. Should've caught my own mistake.
ReplyDeleteNever mind it. Can't blame you, there has to be over 500 MS designs out there.
DeleteGlad to see they used the articulated head design from the Leo's at least. Wish they would have done this for the Talgeese III

glad to see that.
ReplyDeletefinally bandai realize that some of their wing fans have become too old to build an MG.. :)
.
well, for once I wished I'm an immortal celestial being, so that I can always build gunpla from all time .. XD

Like it! Looks sleeker than the one in the anime, but when did it use a beam rifle? So many questions in wing. :))
