wow! cant wait to get me one of these.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I've been waiting for this.
ReplyDeleteStill crossing my fingers for an HGUC version of the Zogok
Agreed. I'm also hoping for a Zaku Desert type (was surprised the Zaku Mariner beat it out) and the Capule/Kapool also! (Preferably with optional Turn A components!)
DeleteHey, I can dream!
Me too on that Zogok (MG please)
ReplyDeleteIs it only me, or this Byalant is a bit different from the original design? Its hand looks like Gabthley's pincer feet.
ReplyDeleteofcourse its different..its the byarlant 'custom'..get it?
DeleteAccording to Gundam Wiki the customs arms are indeed the "claws" of RX-110 Gabthley.
DeleteA Zeta version might be interesting to have.
But this is good news.
I'm glad to see the Byarlant Custom getting the HGUC treatment. I hope the Guncannon DT gets the same...the price point for the ver. KA Signature is a little high.
ReplyDeleteOff topic, that orange thing in the GM Sniper II photo, is that the Riah 35 Draken-E? The mini mobile suit also featured in War in the Pocket? I wonder if they are including it as a bonus, kind of like the hover tank being release with the White Dingo ver.?
That is the Draken-E. And like the hovertruck for the White Dingo exclusive, this will be made for the standard GM sniper II
DeleteI guess adding the Draken now technically finishes the 0080 line-up. Only a couple more stuff from 0083 to go.
DeleteThis is wonderful. I was upset I wasn't able to get an RD Byarlant Custom when it was released, and although I enjoy figures a tad more than model kits, I'm still going to pick this up. I just need to get around to finishing my other modeling projects before I can really consider tackling this beast. I still have a GM Wagtail, Gaplant Hrairoo, and a Hazel Custom I'm converting into Hyzenthlay to finish up.
ReplyDelete@ Blue Aleseides - That would be cool if the Riah 35 Draken-E was included. Unfortunately I'm too satisfied with my RD GM Sniper II to want a kit of this, but maybe down the line I'll pick one up to customize it, and having a bonus mini mobile suit included would be a welcome bonus feature as well.
HALLELUIAH!!!! :D TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY!
ReplyDeleteHERES MY MONEY BANDAI WE HAVE ALL BEEN PRAYING FOR THIS!
ReplyDeletethere will also new ver ka version of mg nu gundam..huurrraahhh...looking frwrd of it..
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised if someone recolors it in Los Angeles Lakers trim, with the No. 24 Decal... XD
ReplyDeleteNot trolling, but based on sales, imagine if they pull out an MG of this (hey Marasai got one, UC ep 4 has long finished so that's probably unlikely) But hey we got 00 Raiser 2 years after the series ended so, who knows? Bandai sure has a crackpot of decision makers, not knowing how to troll us next.
ReplyDeletemost likely not possible for MG because the inner frame would be fragile for this MS..
Deleteoh, yeah! finally, the byarlant custom! i have long been waiting for you, my precious. come to daddy.
ReplyDeleteoh god, those new unpainted pics, it's like having a newborn baby :')
ReplyDeleteAgreed, the colour separation is glorious. It's like this thing is almost sticker-less. Loving all the red plastic! I was afraid this would be like the Anksha with all its stickers, thank Bandai it isn't.
DeleteSorry Hambrabi. You have been removed from my to get ASAP list in favour of this beauty. It sux to be on a gunpla tight budget...
ReplyDeleteThis thing's begging to be cannibalized, customized, and straight built all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously considering getting 3 of this kit.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
ReplyDeleteBeen waiting for this guy!
The HGUC version is actually closer to the original design than the RD one which is really Byarlant Ver. Ka. Which means it's pretty likely for a Zeta version of Byarlant
ReplyDeleteI like to call this one Brian
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the original Byarlant, to be honest...then kitbash the Custom and the original. I dunno, just seems the Custom's arms are a little cumbersome.
ReplyDeletePreorder available when?
ReplyDeleteOn a semi-related note. E2046 has a pre-order up for a 1/100 resin kit of the Byarlant Custom. There stuff is usually built on the MG Freedom's frame, though i'm having a tough time visualizing the inner mechanics on that one...
ReplyDeleteOkay. Now... time to quick dicking around Bandai. MG Jesta and MG Stack Jegan. Git er dun!
*facepalm*
Delete*their
*stark
E2046 dont make the kits so the use of MG freedom as a frame is limited to whatever original resin maker decides to use it.
DeleteThat Resin Byarlant doesn't use an inner frame. Its entirely resin
It looks good standing but I've not seen any pose where it looked really comfortable. Still, that's a nice boxart, not often the featured unit gets to show it's dominance.
ReplyDeleteGotta disagree on the boxart part there. The pose looks kind of awkward, just like most of its movements in the movie. A better boxart for me would have it charging to a side or front of the box with the remains of a Zeon MS behind it. But I'm happy we're still getting this kit. Just like the Stark Jegan, this guy's performance blew me away. The grunts seemed to forget in every other battle that there more maneuvers than "Stop and Fire."
DeleteBut not all grunts have the same skill level as the Stark Jegan and Byarlant Custom pilots. Both of them veterans of Earth Federation's special forces Londo Bell (veteran from Char's last Neo Zeon insurrection) and the TITANS respectively.
DeleteI won't disagree with that. My gripe is with the forces at Torrington base, even if it was a sneak attack not one of them could down a single enemy MS. Even those guys in the GM-IIIs and Nemos at the start did something.
Delete^Box Art: I think ti just slashed something, saw an enemy, and is about to make a hard turn and attack.
Delete^Torrington: I understand being outclassed by Zee Zulus but every other Fed grunt in that battle moved in Mech Warrior-like motion.
