It doesn't look painted at all, except for the inner frame I think. Anyway, even in it's simplicity this is still one of the bes MG ever made (engineering-wise) along with F91 and GN-X: unique inner frame, individual fingers for manipulators, extra-articulated legs and no frikkin' policaps at all! It is a shame Bandai didn't include effect parts for the Butterfly Moonlight.
I wish people would write more about this as you have done. This is something that is very important and has been largely overlooked by the internet community

ReplyDeleteGood Job...for a fragile MG

ReplyDeleteBTW, still waiting for a Turn X MG here.
Turn A and Turn X needs more love. To be honest i love their mecha designs :)
ReplyDeleteThey even painted the cow :D! I wish the 1/144 had the cow :'c
ReplyDeleteThe 1/144 doesn't do the Turn A Gundam any justice especially the silly shoulders although it does also help one to appreciate the design.
DeleteHe painted the eyes. That's it, I think.
ReplyDeletethey should modify that V-mustache to something cooler shape.
ReplyDeleteand the abdomen is too fatty.
Just like your mom's.
