Why is that a bad thing? Do you prefer transformation gimmicks over stability (to the point of having your transformable Gunpla transformed)?
It's hard to get my MSiA Wing Zero (TV/2nd ver.) to pose when the weak legs can't stand up half the time, since they were made for transforming. My 1/144 NG could transform without swapping parts, yes, but the model is an NG that is light (even with the wings on the back), needed detailing (which isn't a problem for me, yet could be for others), and mine had crappy polycaps that drooped when any weight was put into it (so I had to replace 'em, which only resulted in drooping to a lesser extent). I doubt most would appreciate the NGs.
I don't think an MG Wing Zero (TV ver.) will come; I think MG Wing Gundam (TV ver.) was just a bone to throw for Gundam W's 15th anniversary. But if MG Wing Zero does, then that'll be what you're looking for, Aluus. Even if half the Gunpla community will complain about it's stability (not unlike the transformable Unicorn MGs and MG Victory Gundam of recent years).
Until then, be glad RD Wing Zero has a transformation at all, and enjoy it's superb articulation (as most will, rather than having it transformed).
By the way, I have this figure now, and the shield has a hinge to where if you wanted to, you could recreate every pose from the anime involving the twin buster rifle or just a single buster rifle almost perfectly.
Finally some good review pics of this figure, some of the first ones I saw didn't look so good but this batch has made me want it again, awesome!
ReplyDeletewow, really? The legs don't transform? Even the 1/144 ng kit did that...
