Careful use of infantry can turn the tides of the battle.  Infantry can create disturbance during a battle by destroying an enemy base or control a relay point.
By coordinating an infantry's flash bomb to distract the enemy mobile suit, an ally mobile suit can attack the enemey mobile suit to a quick victory.

Set up a time bomb at an enemy base, hide and wait until the enemy infantry comes to disarm it, and destroy both at the same time to get more points.
Control a enemy relay point.  When the enemy pilot descend for his mobile suit to retake the relay point, take control and steal his mobile suit to create a state of confusion.

Various maps make for different approach to battle

Customize mobile suit such as installing a cooling system to reduce thruster recovery time, or strengthening the MS frame to increase health of a MS.
