Took a break tonight watching Gundam UC Episode 4 via rental from the Playstation store, and started building the RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam sample that I recieved last Friday.
I have finished building the upper torso, waist & legs. Although it may be too early to say, but this might be the sturdiest RG to date, it doesn't feel flimsy as with the earlier RGs. Loving how they did the waist skirts, the joints for the skirt armor are now part of the inner frame, so they don't fall off easily or feel loose. Hope to finish the straight build by tomorrow...
Sturdy is good to know. What worries me is that we can't take apart the frame and attempt to stiffen the joints with topcoat because:
ReplyDelete1 - The joints appear to be molded together the way the are on the runner, so any attempt to pry them apart will result in breakage.
2 - Just holding the frame as is in my meaty hands may be enough to snap the thing in half ^_^;
Really nice, I thought the Aile strike was the best among the RG when it was released however it still had the hassle of the front and back skirt falling down when the legs move. So at least the line is improving as it goes along
ReplyDeleteawesome wallaper, where I can find, its great
