PS3: Mobile Suit Gundam UC [The Postwar] (Released in Japan, Price: 5040 yen)
Preview Game Coverage: HERE I had a short session with the game today. And I am not doing a review, just writing some of my thoughts after playing it this morning.
The game is not too bad...but not too great either. The game has a very complex control scheme for controlling the various aspect of your mobile suit, which takes a bit of time to get use to. The graphic is not as fancy as the latest & greatest (ie. Mass Effect 3), but it gets the job done. Gameplay thus far in the early stages were a bit on the easy side, even when I set the game to 'Hard' mode.
One thing I do look forward to is playing the DLCs... I got the code for the Delta Gundam, but have yet to try it out. And I probably would purchase some of the DLCs off the PSN. Maybe I will post about that later.
Judging whether a game is good or not is a very subjective matter. But I can honestly say that after I played for an hour or so, I was yearning to go back to playing Gundam Vs. Extreme...
But I think I will invest some more time in this game to play thru all the levels & some of the DLCs, since I heard that the game was on the short side. Most likely by the time I mastered the control scheme, I would've beaten the game already..lol
