RG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam - Updated Images

Very Nice. A MG in the size of a HG = RG. From the look of the images, the frame is very detailed and does not require a lot much assembly. The exterior of the kit is represented in fine detail to match the actual 1:1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam. What impresses me the most is the Core Fighter being able to transform and be assembled to the frame of the kit (this is optional, since there is a substitute frame part for the Core Fighter.) Much of the parts on the runners will be under gated, and the kit comes with both foil sticker & decals. What more do you want?

I looked forward to this release since I am a big fan of the UC era, and the movie version of Char's Counter Attack was epic. For those who don't remember Nanai Miguel, here is a little introduction from gundam.wikia.com:
This talented woman served as both the director of Neo Zeon's Newtype Labs and as Char's chief operation officer, responsible for planning strategies for the Neo Zeon fleet. Char clearly thinks highly of Nanai's abilities, entrusting her with the all-important assault on the Earth Federation's Luna II base. However, their romantic relationship was largely for show and Nanai soon becomes jealous of Char's interest in the young Newtype Quess Paraya.

1:1 RX-78-2 Gundam - Completed
The 1:1 RX-78-2 Gundam is now completed.
The 1:1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam seen last year at Shiokaze Park, Japan is will once again be on display this year at the front of the JR Shizuoka Station northeast side, Japan. This year, the display will have some new effects & new additions such as a new beam saber that slices into box, and a new display pedestal. Finally a weapon is included! And the official name for the statue is now called 'Real Grade 1/ RX-78-2 Gundam'.
Display period will be from July 24th 2010 - January 10th, 2011. Start planning your vacation. I will be seeing this baby this August! =D
