1/1 RX-78 Gundam Project Assembled

The life sized 1/1 RX-78 Gundam project at Odaiba, Tokyo is nearly complete. Is a wonder to behold such a sight. I must say...is looking way better than I had previously thought it would, and the details are amazing. I had hoped that I can be in Tokyo to see the finished project in July, but most likey I will be vacationing in Canada instead.

For those who would be lucky enough to be in Tokyo or would be traveling there this summer. Here are the directions for this attraction:

1.) Take the Yamanote line (Shinagawa, Tokyo, Ueno, Shibuya, and Shinjuku JR stations all are on the Yamanote line) to Shimbashi station.
2.) At JR Shimbashi station, follow signs to the Yurikamome Line. It is in a seperate building.
3.) Purchase a ticket for 310 yen for Daiba station.
4.) When inside Daiba station. Take a left and look out the window. You will see it. Just get ground level and head that direction. I perfer to take the North Exit and the right stair case down. But you can also take the stairs near the statue of liberty and make a left.
5.) The Gundam is in North Shiokaze Park.

Crossbone Gundam Manga (Vol. 1-6) - English Translation (From Zeonic|Scanlation)

ZeonicScanlations has finally released today their entire 'ENGLISH TRANSLATED' Crossbone Gundam manga series (Vol. 1-6). They will be working on Crossbone Gundam Steel 7 manga series soon, but don't hold your breath for that release...since they usually take a pretty long time to complete a series.

For those who do not know what the manga series Crossbone Gundam is all about. Here is some info from wikipedia:

Overview
Crossbone re-takes some of the characters created by Tomino in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam F91, but several years later. It has never been distributed in English.

Plot
Universal Century (UC) 0133. Ten years after the events of the Cosmo Babylon Wars depicted in F91, 13 year-old protagonist Tobia Arronax is a transfer student from Earth heading to the Jupiter colonies aboard the Smashion Jovian transport ship. When space pirates of the Crossbone Vanguard attacks the Smashion with their ship, the Mother Vanguard, Tobia willingly sorties out in a Jovian mobile suit to hold them off. Unfortunately, he is captured by Crossbone Vanguard ace pilot Kincaid Nau and brought before their leader Berah Ronah, who offers him a choice: either head straight to Jupiter and forget what has happened or join them to discover the "truth". Tobia hesistantly joins with the pirates, but little does he know the Vanguard's agenda is one of resistance than of piracy.
In reality, the Jovians have been secretly building up their military for years, forming the Jupiter Empire, with the goal of Earth Sphere domination. Their ruthless leader Crux Dogatie maintains a façade of partnership with the Earth Federation, so as to avoid suspicion by the Federal government. Learning the truth, Tobia allies with the Crossbone Vanguard, and under Kincaid's tutelage, becomes one of their most prominent pilots, while using the XM-X2 Crossbone Gundam X-3, while slowly developing his Newtype abilities.
