If this design came out today, what would your reaction be? be honest.
ReplyDeleteTurn A Gundam had a dated design when it originally came out.
DeleteTurn A is supposed to look retro futurist. Kind of a big theme of the show, too...
DeleteTo be honest, I see Turn A first on SRW Alpha Gaiden and feel unique from it, not bash it or somewhat. Yes I like unique things from the start and it'll not change even Turn A design come today.
DeleteHonestly, I wouldn't feel one way or the other about it (pretty much my reaction to every Gundam until I see it in action). But Syd Mead's designs are timeless. They may not be "flashy" or "attention-grabbing", but they grow on you the more you look at them. I'm sure Turn A will still be remembered long after stuff like Unicorn is forgotten.
DeleteThat "giving birth" pose... stay classy Turn ∀, stay classy :)
ReplyDeleteTurn Turn A?

DeleteGeez, I didn't know hanging laundry from your arms while sitting on a hillside amounts to giving birth. The rest of humanity totally has got the process all wrong! :P
Oh, so that was Turn A hanging laundry? Haha! I didn't know that.
DeleteHow are we supposed to know its hanging laundry, look at it and tell me that it is isnt giving birth
DeleteI died laughing at that second last pics. That position is lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful HG, I expected nothing less of this unique design.
