ReplyDeleteWhat did you say, dude ?
DeleteThe two tactical arms as the backpack seems a bit of an overkill doesn't it?
DeleteYeah, you're right.
Deletethat's what he said..
Deletebut also kind of like the seven sword/g
DeleteI'd buy both blue and reds in MG... if they are not online exclusives like the Astray noir :(
ReplyDeleteDat colour scheme...Holy crap it looks awesome. Though I think having two tactical arms as a backpack is a bit of an overkill isn't it? I'd wait and see this in action, I could be underestimating it.
ReplyDeletelol, Turn Red really have an inverted color scheme :P
ReplyDeleteWaiting for some story explanation.
why is the red frame using the blitz's v fin? I don't think this is lowe's red frame
ReplyDeleteDude that ain't Blitz V fin learn to know your V fins
DeleteBallin.
ReplyDeleteSo the Red is basically the MG Red Frame with 2 Tactical Arms instead of one and no swords? And the Blue is the MG Blue Frame Rev 2 with an Aile Striker Pack. No thanks. Stop messing around with Seed and start finishing the 00 main characters MG run. When do I get to build a MG Arios/Archer dammit. Or how about a PG EZ-8? C'mon Bandai.
ReplyDeleteOr an MG Espano Guymelef Escaflowne perhaps..
DeleteThat's the dream right there! I'd be more than happy to get behind an MG Guymelef Escaflowne!
DeleteThey are not made from the MG but from the 1/100 no grade.
DeleteNope they aren't 1/100 NG if you check the arm guards and the elbow joint you'll see that they are from the new 1/144 HG Astray models.
Deletelazy design. bugger v-fins old backpacks. especially in the blue frame, just an aile pack from strike? cmon...
ReplyDeletesigh Bandai, still milking SEED = STUPID - ENDLESS - EXCESSIVE - DESIGNS
ReplyDeleteYes, because Bandai is only milking SEED and not UC at all with their palette swapping of 0079 units. No siree.
DeleteSigh and you keep bitching as always
DeleteFor the most part, I love the majority of the SEED kits from the NG 1/100 Astray kits up, with the exception of the "vs Astray" NG 1/100s with the lame part swapping that were just HORRIBLE. I wish they would come out with the Blue Frame 3rd in MG.
DeleteI do also agree they need to come out with the rest of the main 00 Gundams in either MG, or at least as good as the 1st season NG 1/100 kits.
You know what I'd like? An MG Red Frame Mars Jacket.
DeleteWhat are those 2 other grunt looking suits? Dagger base? The ones that resemble the Victory Hexa heads..
ReplyDeleteHyperion G, Dagger version of Hyperion Gundam.
DeleteI am fan of seed series but I am curiously.... the new color of astray gundam can make Bandai get more profit (except sengoku) ?
ReplyDeleteThe backpack is too much....
ReplyDeleteWow Such Astray. So colors. Much Invert.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, Bandai just make Gundam Seed Astray a new anime. It can be an OVA series like Unicorn or a TV series. We know you love the Astray design(who cam blame you), and the story of the original manga is Outlaw Star in the Gundam Seed Universe, so just do it.
Either that or an MG Gold Frame. IT WOULD EB SO EASY. ALL THE PARTS BUT THE WINGS ALREADY EXIST. COME ON BANDAI!!!
Theyre also already undergated for some gold plated goodness
DeleteThe two tactical arms mounted on the backpack sorta remind me of the Phenex.
ReplyDeleteHmm, looks like its using the core part of the Strike Noir backpack.
ReplyDeleteAnd just recently they have the Astray Noir.
If they are going to release a MG kit, only the head would be new.
it needs two extra set of arms like Sengoku Astray .
ReplyDeleteBecause you can never have enough Astray variants....
ReplyDeleteWhere is the MG gold frame Amatsu? I have been waiting for that to be anounced ever since i got both the red and blue MG's. Does Japan hate it so much?
ReplyDeleteis this going to be an actual release?
ReplyDeleteOk found a bit of story at the Astray R official site
ReplyDeleteTurn Red is Valerio Valeri's (Double V or V.V?) machine.
It is equipped with the battle AI [80].
Lowe's [8] was stolen some time back, perhaps [80] is developed from [8]?
Lowe got [8] back from V.V in chapter 11.
Also DI Adaga is like the GX-Bit of CE.
I suppose Turn Red would be able to command an army of DI Adaga too?
Anyway the story is gearing up for Red Dragon vs Turn Red.

ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, Since the armor and the frame color swapped, would it be appropriate to call it "White" Frame instead?
ReplyDeleteOr call it gundam astray turn white
DeleteIts called Turn Red because the color is swapped.
DeleteAn inverted colored Red Frame thus Turn Red.
And the pilot V.V seems to have an unhealthy obsession with Lowe.
I did not notice this earlier. This thing is a 1/144 hg astray modified with the 1/144 noir backpack and 2 blue frame swords. I thought its in 1/100
ReplyDeleteI think you're right about the Strike Noir Backpack, but I do believe it is a 1/100 scale. Those shoulders and the knees are found on the MG version of the astrays, whereas the 1/144 scale doesn't have that separation, though I may be mistaken and it could be a modified 1/144
Deletethis is a 1/144 i checked the knee with my 1/100 mg and the old 1/100 hg and those dont match this guys proportions. the knee separation is a modification they did. and its actually shown in the hobby mag they got this picture from.
DeleteIt seems like you are right about these being 1/144.
DeleteThe arm shoulder and legs are not the one of a MG and the knee have different separation than on the MG.
The line on the forearm is actually a detail like on the new 1/144HG where in the 1/100NG its just a seamline.
Also it say 1/144 astray red frame fligth unit convertion in the Updated 3/10/14.
DeleteThe blue frame D is also a 1/144, the aile pack is from the RG not the MG it is clearly visible on the truster exhaust.
DeleteI like the color scheme though, dat Titanium finish is hot :)
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one here who sick of this fucker
DeleteG.G. is even more annoying than Suiton
ReplyDeleteScrew G.G. Hope he gets banned.
Screw the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up
ReplyDeleteAstray Noir D = Astray Noir + Impulse Regene pack. Good job as usual BANDAI. I wonder how long does it take before we see all these new suits in P-BANDAI shop ?
ReplyDeletelol, make another online exclusive by combining 2 other exclusives :P
DeleteThe Astray Noir D is fugly. I hope this Blue Frame comes out in MG form, though. It doesn't look so bad with that forearm weapon.
DeleteAfter seeing more of the Astray Blue Frame D, I actually want it a lot. I own the Second Revise and it wouldn't be impossible to incorporate the best elements of the two into a custom build (I love the hidden weapons in the feet and tactical arms)
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteWhen will ya STFU
DeleteBlue Frame is SERIOUSLY crying out to be made into a model kit. I hope that it does come out. It's one of the best Blue Frame designs I've ever seen.
