D/U means Destroy/Unicorn mode, as it's displayed in both forms. This isn't a finished kit though, it says "coming soon" underneath the modeler's name.
Well, the Deadlined/Unfinished mode make sense more to me, like Anon 1:10pm says, because it looks totally unfinished and that "coming soon" supports it.
I get the feeling all the person did was spray a can of fine gray primer...

It is like painted the whole kit with only white or grey primer. And what's the D/U stand for?
