Well, that kinda explains the names. Amazing Zaku has an amazing amount of stickers, Build Strike requires you to do a painted build just to make it look good.
The new SB-13s aren't 1/100 beams. I've compared my RG Zephyranthes' sabers (which the SB-13s appear to be the production version of) to the blades used by most 1/100 kits: the SB1s, and though they they look very similar stylistically, the SB-13s are noticably shorter and thinner than the SB1s. Though they are much longer than the old SB6s (the fairly short, featureless beams that came with most HGUC kits), they are not too overwhelming, and actually look fairly proportionate for most normal-sized 1/144 scale kits.
Bandai, why so much stickers ? =(
ReplyDeleteLess complexity...obvious cost saving measure, it's expected with colorful hg's...
DeleteTried the 1/144 doven wolf unicorn version...ALL THOSE STICKERS, LEAST CLOSE TO 60!
If you don't like you can paint, go without or just stick to mg kits, I got tweezers and basic paint skills so I can go either way.
The fact is HG AGE kits were colorful. And, boy, was there not that much stickers.
Deletecheck out the amazing zaku's stickers XD
DeleteYup, one for the mono-eye and one for the beam rifle's scope. That's what I call HG standard.
DeleteBuild Booster is all blue...

DeleteHave they given up on 1/144th size beam sabers? Why is the saber practically longer than the kit is tall?
ReplyDeletemaybe because dinky 1/144 beam sabers just dont cut it?
DeletePersonally i prefer longer beam sabers as well. btw, did anyone take a close look at the runners?

DeleteWill the SB-13s fit on HG 00 Gundam's hilts?
DeleteSo BuildBooster stand alone gets special parts to easily attach em to other units huh? Well played Bandai.
