Mobile Force Gungal (1980)
Can this unique series survive the test of time?
During the height of the "Gundam" Boom in 1980... a daring model kit line called Mobile Force Gungal was released by Tokyo Marui.  This unique model kit line was released in both 1/250 & 1/177 scale.  Even to this date... fans are still making custom builds & fan-arts of the Gungal.

    1. I had the same thought as well. Could be the inspiration for the Turn A.

And the design, a case of: So bad, it's good kind of feel!

  10. The Phrase "Barely Legal" comes to mind XD

They did a good job though designing them. They took all the leading themes from the 0079 MSes and did their own spin-off with them. Like Gundam meets Mazinger. Or If Gundam had returned to their old S-R (Super Robot) heritage from the 60's and early 70's.
