DeleteAGE didn't start that. The RX-78-2 (which is the VERY FIRST GUNDAM SEEN ON TELEVISION almost 34 years ago), in both anime and real type colors (which have also been around since the early 1980s), has ALWAYS had the yellow squares on the skirt armor.

DeleteIf you're a fan of the original or just want an RX-78-2 in MG, then you should just get the 2.0 MG version. Trying to get this guy outside of Japan will probably have a massive premium added to it. Sure it's a cool version and all, but the regular MG 2.0 version is what I would say is the definitive version.

I like MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0, but not with this color. it's just don't match.
that GREEN mixed with black is odd. Would be better if all Green or all Black.

ReplyDelete[MG] "Grandpa" Gundam - OYW version. Well, it's not as accurate as the GFT version but at least it comes close.
