  3. this might be a stupid question, but being anonymous has its perks so here it is:
About the waterslide decal, do i need to top coat it or mr mark setter will be enough to make the decals as "permanent" as the dry transfer and sticker type decals?
appreciate it if someone would answer, thanks

    1. You don't need Mr. Mark setter, but you need to use Mr. Mark Softer so the decal look like it was painted. Then you top coated afterwards. Just clean the area, apply the decal, use the softer, and then top coat (two coats at least). Some modelers go the extra mile and lightly sanded the part after top coat so the decal looks completely painted on the part, then top coated again.

    2. dude, what if i dont top coat it, would the decals rub off/ peel off easily? or would it stay as permanently as normal dry transfer decals?

    3. In my experience the waterslide decals will come off without a top coat because they dry out. Defiantly use the softer, you won't get the outline effect, but use it sparingly. It can warp the decal if you use too much. And use a gloss top coat for the waterslide. Also adds to the painted on effect. If you want to flat coat do it after the gloss coat.

      Good luck!!

    4. you just made me more nervous since i last topcoated was the HGUC nu and it frosted and looked bad.
So what you're saying is that mark setter and softer isnt enough to make the decals not fall?Q.Q

  4. pegs that swivel out of the handle? didnt they learn from the old PG's that that's a flimsy connection?

    1. That's why the pegs swivel out of the handle, and also swivel out the hand. So it's a double connection.

I think it'll be quite solid
