ReplyDeletethe SD destiny and the wing zero custom shouldn't be called a "diorama" i mean..look at the other entries..i apologize for the criticism..it just doesn't seem to fit in the category..

And I have to agree with you anonymous that the level of my entry is way below that of the other entries, but that shouldn't mean that I can't enter. It wouldn't be fun if you could only join this contest if you are an "expert" modeller. That would mean that all the people who just started doing gunpla are left out.
technically, a "diorama" should have a story behind it..well, that's how i see it.that it should feel like it's a scene from a show or something..i didn't say that you should be an expert modeller to make your own diorama, it's just that a custom action base with a blue backdrop doesn't seem to be enough to call it a "diorama"..

ReplyDeleteDon't mean to be sour but sadly, 3/4 of the posted entries do not qualify as "Diorama". Most of them are just "Vignette", in modelling terms that is.
ReplyDeleteVignette : A small, scenic base as a setting for, or to complimemt a single model.
Diorama : A scenic base for the setting or display of several models, that portrays a story-telling.
