Nintendo 3DS: Gundam The 3D Battle - More Info

Namco Bandai will be releasing Gundam The 3D Battle game for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS on March 24, 2011. Not much detail are given at this time other than the following:

- Mobile suits from Gundam, Z-Gundam, and Char’s Counterattack will be in the game. Although from the box art, we can see that other series are included

- More than 70 Mobile Suits will be playable in the game

- Pilot creation & customization

- The 3D aspect of the game will give players a unique view of depth during intense battles

- 3D model gallery to view all the mobile suits in 3D

Earlier in the week, Nintendo had also announced that the 3DS will be region locked, meaning that software will only work on hardware from the corresponding territory. This is certainly a bad news for us whom want to play both US & import games, unless we buy both regions of the 3DS handhelld console or when/if the game console is shhh...hacked. But those waiting for a hack should also know that the recent SONY restraining orders against a US hacking group might be a trend in fighting hackers from around the world, and could potentially scare off folks from hacking.
