While I finally got myself back into manga mode reading 'Mobile Suit Gundam Revival of Zeon', I ran into this cool looking Zeon Remnant mobile suit variation of The-O, it is called 'PMX-003 The-O II'. And it is a rather nice piece of equipment, and I think it would be a great challenge for modders to modify the upcoming MG The-O to look like this baby here.
Here is a little excerpt from the manga about this mobile suit:
During the development of the original PMX-003, a group of former Zeon engineers taking part in the project designed a siege mobile suit based on equipping The-O with heavy weapons. It was planned as a super-machine, capable of single-handedly handling an assault on enemy territory thanks to its heavy weapons and armor. It was supposed to move by hovering, giving it considerable mobility. However, it was extremely costly and difficult to manufacture, so production was stopped with only a small number of units. Due to it being so different from The-O, it was given the nickname HAUER.
In the manga this The-O II / HAUER really kicked some Feddies A$$.
MG 1/100 The-O will be released this August for 12,000 Yen.
