1:1 Scale RX-78-2 Gundam (Higashi-Shizouka Station) - Getting Build

Looks like work on the 1:1 Gundam RX-78-2 had started last month.... and progress thus far have been getting the base cemented and a frame set for the leg build.

The 1:1 Gundam RX-78-2 will be on display this year at Higashi-Shizuoka Station starting July 24th.

Gundam World 2010 (Sapporo, Japan)

Gundam World 2010 is being held at the Sapporo Factory Atrium from Apri. 29th-5th. A pretty disappointing exhibition.... they didn't display anything thats new, the only recent kit on display is the Unicorn HD Color w/ MS Cage, thats'bout it.

PS3: Another Century's Episode: R - Game Promotion Trailer

At the suggestion of Asian1Skill, I finally watched the promotion trailer for the upcoming PS3 title Another Century's Episode R. Quite the looker, but no gameplay video yet.

Gundam Extreme VS. Arcade Title

With the recent announcement of the next Gundam Vs. title. I thougth I would start to cover some info on this too. The new entry will be named 'Gundam Extreme Vs.' and it was announced way back in February at the AOU arcade expo in Japan.

At the moment details about the gameplay is sparse, but it was announced that gameplay would not change much, which is a good thing. The game system will be developed using PS3's System 357 board, which means this title will very likely see a PS3 release!!!! So for us Gundam Vs. fans who over the years have developed squinty eyes syndrome playing on the PSP; we can now look forward to a very possible release of this title on PS3 and be able to play it on our big LCDs. However this might be a long wait.

But first, japanese arcade will release this title this Fall. And there are also changes to the arcade version as well. Such as having a new housing for the 2 vs. 2 environment, better graphics, and monitors that uses 16:9 wide screen. Gosh... is nice to live in Japan. *tears*
A new Live monitor screen will allow bystanders to view the game in progress, mainly from the players point of view, but can change view perspective with a press of a button.

Players will be able to save their game record on the Gundam Extreme VS. card.

And of course, what new Gundam VS. title wouldn't come with a whole new slew of MS to be included. For now, it was announced that Astray Red Frame, Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai, and the Zudah will be the new MSs included. More Updates later.
