M.S.ERA - The Photographs of The One-Year War (Part 1)

Being the UC Fan that I am, I thought it might be interesting to start a series to display some rare documentary photos w/ descriptions about the famous One-Year War (and other events from that era). This will be a multipart posting.

This 1st part will display some documentary photos showings us the humble beginning of the UC Era before the One-Year War.

Let's begin...

PART 1

1) July 20, 1969: The apollo program of NASA, finally succeeded in sending mankind to the moon. This is the first footprint of mankind on the surface of the moon. It was the true marking of the dawn of the Century of the Universe.

2) ISLANDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT SIDE 3: Island 3 type colonies were expected to solve the over population problems on Earth, but no one could have predicted that this will be the initial steps in a chain of events that would trigger a conflict between spacenoids & Earth.

3) SPACE MAG: A maganize of this period reporting the birth of the one millionth Spacenoid on Side 2. After the Independence of Zions was established, the word "Colony" was taken out of the magazine cover.

4) IMMIGRANTS FOR THE HIGH WORLDS: At the department office of immigration affairs, Venezuela.

5) THE ARCHIPELAGO: Commemoration photograph of the completion of Side 2 (Hatte) colonies taken for public information.

Upcoming: PART 2 - Some rare photos of the rise of Zion, Zabi family & more...

PSP - (機動戦士ガンダム 戦場の絆) MSG Senjou no Kizuna Portable Online w/ Xlink Kai

Wanna play a game of MSG Senjou no Kizuna Portable (機動戦士ガンダム 戦場の絆) on the internet?

Ever since I'd purchased MSG Senjou no Kizuna Portable, I've been itching to play a 4 vs. 4 game with players around the world? And now I can with Xlink Kai.

Xlink Kai is a global gaming network being able to bridge together gamers on Xbox, PS2, PSP, etc..into one integrated community. Xlink Kai is a software running on your PC or Mac that allows gamers to play system-link games online for free. So it is with this software that I've been able to play my Senjou no Kizuna Portable with real adversaries, and it has been a blast to play.

So here are the requirement in order to play PSP - Senjou no Kizuna Portable online:

- MSG Senjou no Kizuna Portable game
- A PSP system
- A Wireless Mini_USB Adapter w/ software driver
(Check Xlink Kai offical website for compatibility check)
- Latest Xlink Kai software (PC / Mac / Linux)

Once you have everything installed. All you need is to get your PSP connected to your home internet. Of course I am simplifying the steps here, but you can check out all the details at http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26897
Start up your Xlink Kai user interface, click on PSP arena. As you can see in the image below, there's a lot of gamers at the PSP arena.

Then select the genre of game you want to play.... Senjou no Kizuna Portable is listed as an Action Game. As you can see below, there are 24 players currently in the game arena.

Once I've entered into the arena, I can chat with the gamers there, and also see how many active games there are.

Once I select an active game with available opening, I can join the game. After I joined a game, my game profile will connect to the game lobby, and I am ready to go!

IF ANYONE WANT TO PLAY SENJOU NO KIZUNA PORTABLE ON XLINK KAI, JUST EMAIL ME @ mr_gundam_guy@yahoo.com, AND WE CAN HOOK UP.

HG 1/144 Arche Gundam (Relased)

HG 1/144 Arche Gundam Released - 1,600 Yen

Contrary to my disappointments with the Gundam 00 series, I am a fan of some of their MS designs. And the Arche Gundam has become one of my favorites from the 2nd season of the series.

With the early release of the HG 1/144 Arche Gundam... I can be sure my order would arrive a bit early..I hope.

Awesome Shots of GFFs & Gunplas

Wow. A fellow blogger used quite a lot of Kotobukiya MSG Mechanical Bases...customized it with various colored LEDs... put them together to form a hanger... put all his GFFs in it....took an awesome pic...and done one hell of an editing job.

Is Awesome to say the least. I personally had the idea to do a similiar thing, but this guy beats me to it and did a great job!

ZZ Gundam Masterpiece Book (On Sale)

The ZZ Gundam Masterpiece (book) went on sale this past March, and is a publication that belongs to the Masterpiece series. Although I have no idea how long the series has been running, but it is designed to immerse fans into the Gundam world, to describe in great details about the technical aspect of the mobile suit design & weaponry as if they were real.

Although details are sparse, but it seems the book is quite popular in Japan. The ZZ Gundam Masterpiece went on sale late March at a price of $2,500 Yen.
