It was hard to tell from the early shots, but it does seem that they still only have a colored prototype to show for the V Gundam instead of the actual complete model like the Double X or the Wing.
I hope newer beam sabers will be made like this one. I've had more that a few beam sabers break those little pegs (and one Unicorn Destroy that broke the peg off the backpack after falling on its back).
Micro mobile suit ftw! Sadly, looks like there is zero chance for it to have transformation of any kind. The biggest clue lies in the absence of the rear leg wing bits, the MG kit has it sticking out, unless Bandai provided with separate transformed leg piece... Hey, Bandai gave us two loto for the same price... Still though, quite a nice looking mobile suit.
Is it just me or do the proportions look a little...dumpy? The chest is a bit too short and squat, and the abdomen section is a little too long, I think. Not quite how I remembered the Victory Gundam from the anime, or maybe I have to watch it again to check.
Still, great that we're getting an HGUC kit of it at all.
That is awful looking
ReplyDeleteActually surprised that you can type, of-course meaning that you are blind.
DeleteAwww someone doesn't like something that you do, get over yourself.
Deleteagree this looks unfinished, I will either wait for the Dash Version or a RG upgrade
Deletewhy? its still not the finished kit? it looks fine to me.
ReplyDeletethis sucker is going to be tiny
ReplyDeleteIt'll be about 1/144th the size of the design. It's a little smaller than Wing Gundam, not that bad. They have made 1/144 V kits before.
DeleteYeah, and they were toooooooo tiny
Deleteand yet you not complaining the size of HGUC lOTO?
Deleteprick
If you want a 6-inch figure, go buy a toy. Scale models are designed based on the size of the actual object, not to a standard aesthetic toy size.
DeleteWhat's going on with the Core Fighter's canopy? I don't recall it ever being blue.
ReplyDeletehey, at least they're not using the MS's actual chest for the transformation
Deleteand, where the hex is the hexa?!
the hexa may come as a separate kit. honestly this is WAY BETTER than the MG.
Deletethe core fighter may be a separate unit
Jesus it's like some of you cannot tell this is a coloured prototype with all the rough edges

ReplyDeleteSo does this means were getting a V-Dash in the future?
ReplyDeleteyeah i think more likely
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermarks. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it will be partsformable like Age-2 normal or simple transform like in his old MG version.

ReplyDeleteI'd prefer if they just made separate pieces for the core, top, and base. IMO, that would make the model more solid plus, we get to display 4 models
ReplyDeleteLooking at it, msot seam lines would be hidden too, awesome.
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteGTFO dude
DeleteBetter artwork than Wing/Double X! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteScrew the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteGotta say, I love that boxart! I'd love to see a GunEZ and/or a Gunblastor released as well! ^_^

In my opinion, the proportions are perfect....
DeleteLimbs look spot-on, it's just the torso that bothers me about the kit.
DeleteI guess I do have to watch V Gundam again. Cheers
On second viewing, it does look like it's too long of belly and too short of chest.
ReplyDeleteChecked against MAHQ's lineart:
http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/v/lm312v04.htm
I smell a Victory 2 w/ a mega beam rifle in the future.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or the head is a bit small compared to the torso...
ReplyDeleteIt's really small head for a 1/144
ReplyDeleteYup definitely looks like something you can pick up girls with..
ReplyDeleteYup, already ordered 3, I'll be going to a few clubs once I build one of em and pick me up some girls
Deleteanother good choices for christmas...together with V2 , I like it the new look
