DeleteHow you could be so sure that the existing Wing/Wing Zero MGs don't sell very well? They sell very well too (almost on par with SEED or equal to 00) , but not as bad as AGE kits. Wing has fairly good popularity in Japan. You're comparing Wing's popularity in Japan to its massive popularity overseas so that's why you think Wing's MG kits don't sell very well. Or you're just making an excuse to spam your wishlists, don't you?

DeleteNo way. Bandai will definitely prioritize signature/absolute classic kits first. Just too many waiting in queue since it's a new line of product. RX-93, Sazabi, Gelgoog, GM, Jegan, Unicorn, Banshee, Sinanju, Shining, Tallgeese, GP03S you name it. 00 Quanta is simply too trivial for that.

DeleteThis is probably gonna be another P-Bandai exclusive just like the MG Altron. It was originally announced as a standard MG but later changed to an PB MG. I was like "WHAAAAT?!" at first then it sank it...an RG of the original Wing and Zero would be more exciting than the Wing EW. Its literally Wing Zero Custom/ EW with Wing's color scheme and modified wings and weapons.

ReplyDeleteAs a fan of wing series, I want to have TV version MG and HG revive way more than the RG and manga version. The manga version has already made people very confused by adding lots of unnecessary stuff.

ReplyDeleteThe only change that are made to this release are the color change in outer armors of the main body, feather wings were replaced by the mechanical ones, twin buster rifles were replaced by a single, long buster rifle, the additions of the shield on the left arm and the rifle capsule holders on both lower arms.
ReplyDeleteOther than those changes, it is basically the same gunpla with the very same frame.
Would like to see the Infinite Justice, Gouf and the RX79[G] Gundam Ground Type roll out of the door (as these should already be in the planning stage). Dunno when will the other Operation Meteor RG GUNPLA arrive, and I doubt they've already got Unicorn Gundam in the prototyping stage.

DeleteI suspected this when I found some unnecessary joints and part separations in the RG wing zero.
ReplyDeleteThe new wing is just wing zero with a different backpack and weapons. I was hoping they just p-bandai it, and release a significantly different gundam like Qant, ZZ, Nu, Victory, even original wing or the other 4 EW gudnams would be better. At this rate it will takes ages for them to come out.

Ok, it still looks good even in 1/144 so that's great, i guess. What I really need to know is that can Bandai fix that stupid-ass problem that plagued the MG version which are those craptastic hands that can't hold that Buster Rifle. I have personal experience with that dumbassery. And as a big Wing fan, that's not something I could forgive.

DeleteI have the RG Wing Zero and he holds his guns perfectly. The handles of the Buster Rifles have pegs that goes into the peg holes in the hands so it's rather obvious that Bandai will use the same hands here.
