  1. Hopefully it'll come with more details. The HG looks way too simple.

    1. Kyaaaa~ more MG Strike Gundam variants

      *commit suicide*

  2. Damn it Bandai.
I knew it. But right now I'm like 80% sure I won't even bother with the Build Fighter MG line of kits or any kits for that matter in this series,

    1. I'm sure Bandai will be very preoccupied with what you'll buy or won't... Are all of us, for that matter. Still, one less box rotting away, never to be built, so that's a good thing

    2. Hopefully they do a MG Gunpla Builder's Beginning G Line that would be nice ^^

    3. Suiton, watch your words. You may eat them someday. Remember when you said that you will only buy Gundam 00 kits?

  3. Should we consider this as another seed (strike) release? -_-

    1. if you're idiot as you seems, you can do it

    2. You still can't believe bandai choose a seed's mobile suit as the main mecha, eh?

    3. Seed's Gundams sucks

      Delete
    4. Nope. They're actually quite pleasing to the eye. Don't consider the bastardized side-story MS. You can't just say they suck like it's a fact. XD.

    5. I agree with this guy ^. they really are well designed. just not the manipulator for the kits. I for one do not like them. I don't know about you guys.

I'd still recommend them though, since they're sort of similar to the "original boy band". :)

    6. @9:02 Are you kidding me? I didn't like SEED story but the MS designs were amazing. Even the OVA ones were cool. Also SEED was a huge hit in Japan so I'm not surprised.

  4. Uh, well... can't say I'm too happy about this. There's a ton of suits out there that are waiting to get the MG treatment (or at least to be remade in 2.0 or ver. Ka). They already made this thing in HG, it was enough.

    1. Doesn't matter if you are happy with it or not. Bandai is in the business of making money, and with Build Fighters currently running, they won't pass this chance to make a kit out of one of the suits. The Strike RM frame also served them well.

  5. Come on Bandai.. Already a MG for the worst Gundam series? -_-

    1. Wait till the series ends before you consider it as the worst.

    2. Silly plot, design, characters, and MS from the start.

Gundam Age still better in term of story.

    3. There has never been a Gundam series where the designs weren't ridiculous.

    4. well, there will be always haters for every series i guess, I, for one am a AGE and SEED/DESTINY hater, but c'mon, Build fighters seems to be a decent series if not better than Age & seed.

  6. Hope they will cancel this

    2. The real suiton is up there. Don't you see his post?

    3. This MG is exist for advertisement sake. Pretty sad but I hope series is going well

      Delete
    4. You mean like every other kit Bandai has made? I love when people cynically discover that Gundam is just a business venture for Bandai and not some gift to the world when Bandai makes something that person doesn't care for.

    5. @Rocky
Also, the real suiton doesn't like Build Fighters. As Ben said outside this post, GBF is also about building Gunpla , which suiton will never do LoL

  8. Is it only me or the Build Strike backpack look very much like the Ootori pack?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Both of them sucks

      Delete
    2. hey, at least we're still getting it in Strike RM's mold so we're only going to worry about that simple, plastic looking backpack.

      Delete
    3. it's not only similar to the ootori pack, but also the shiranui pack if you look closer while the wings are kinda similar to destiny's wing regarding the slit-which-allows-the-winglets-to-pass-through gimmick. :)

    1. I actually quite like the show. But that comment is Awesome.

  10. They'll use the same frame again.

  11. As much as the naysayers will gripe about Build Fighters - I take this show as what I see it as; a show about gunpla building and battling that is both an advertisement (like Gunpla Builders Beginning G) as well as a funny parody of the Gundam metaverse so I find it enjoyable.

Anyway, It's a good thing I skipped out on the various Strike RMs...I might be interested in getting a MG Build Strike because it uses the same GAT-X frame anyway and is different than building the classic Strike.

    1. Even though GPB's concept was still better than build fighters, this still is a pretty good series that may help bandai recover from that failure of a series that they last made (AGE).

      Delete
  12. They should actually make a new mobile suit that isn't based of SEED Gundam.

One step in the right direction.

    1. AHAHAHAH! THe more you whine, the more Seed stuff gets released! Keep crying, your tears also taste great!

      Delete
    2. Yeah, they should make something based off of the RX-78. I don't think that design has been explored enough...

      Delete
    3. As much as you hate seed, they actually have really good designs in the whole series. Your are just too blinded by your bias against seed. If your like any other UC extremist whos gonna complain about the wings, UC has its share of suits with wings. Hi NU, Sinaju, Kshatriya, Queen Mansa,

      Delete
  13. I even not see this suit in full equipped mode and already get MG

X need 20 years to get MG

    What the fuck?!

    1. The show had a promising start. And it is a show about GUNPLA after all. They had the Strike RM frame and everything just fell into place.

Gundam X is also a show that got cancelled. There was little demand for it until very recently, at least in Japan. The only part of the globe that people are clamoring for Gundam X is in the west.

  14. The only thing I'm surprised about here is the fact it came out as a MG so soon. Talk about milking the Strike and it's cousin the Astray...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, can't help it. That's how they (Bandai) do it. Whatever is the current trend, they'll go with it. But as far as I know, a blu-ray version of gundam wing series is about to be released this November. Hopefully Bandai will release wing kits in their MG scale by that time..

  18. It's a GREAT news for gundam age fans. Gundam age was the worst gundam series so are MG age gundams. Now there is a worse one.

  19. too bad this website doesn't offer the "like" button.

  20. Labeling this as "1.44/1" instead of the usual "1/100" would be hilarious. It might just be me, though.

So where's the source, GG? If this is true, then awesome - but I'm going to wait for the final form. If this is false, though, at least the haters were entertaining. Win-win situation!

    1. Haha never thought of the scale but your right this isn't 1/100 so it shouldn't be labeled as such. would be very amusing.

  21. I was worried we'd be getting a MG of this faux Strike Gundam. >: {
Bandai just couldn't wait for the SEED continuation and commissioned this phony be created. RAAAA!

  22. have any of you even watched the show? ffs get more than two episodes in before you make a judgement.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The show is about Gunpla. Building and fighting them. C'mon a Gundam series wherein there is no serious drama or real world changing repercussion, just fighting, is awesome. Plus it answers the age old question of Gundam aficionados since the series began, "Who would win in a fight ______ or ______?" The answer by the way is it depends who is piloting it.

  24. Hope most of the leads come in MG form?
