    1. Other than typical eye and camera stickers some decals would be included, lazy molders such as myself like this set up.

    2. I'm really disappointed,
Took them years to release an MG Wing Zero TV variant, albeit not a proper one, and this is the best they can offer ?
      Really bandai ?
Jeez, did Katoki build this while in his sleepwalking ?
I expect more gimmicks, unique features that add values, something you can expect from a lead gundam MG. But instead you got a standard MG with just a redesigned wing binder. OMG. Oh. My. God.

    3. It has plenty of gimmicks that the Wing Gundam Zero is known for. It has the wing binders that open out, the twin buster rifles that can detach, beam sabers in the opening shoulder armor, vernier thrusters underneath the shoulder armour, shoulder mounted machine cannons that open up, and the proper transformation. When I mean proper I mean that they legs actually open up and have the feet recede inside. I never thought Bandai would be able to achieve that specific trait of the Wing Zero's transformation from the anime since a MG would have inner frame but Bandai did it. They have every single part molded in the correct colours including the clear pieces. What more could you ask for. What were you expecting exactly? Something like the Nu Ver Ka? I admit the inner frame is left something to be desired. But otherwise the kit looks absolutely fantastic! Even though it may not be the exact Tv version the more and more I see images of the kit's poses I'm reminded of the awesome show that got me into this hobby. Certain Mobile suits made in MG form can only have gimmicks according to the suit itself. They can't just start simply making crap up. Since your standards are so high what kind of gimmicks would you have implemented to have met you expectations?

  2. Good.

So if we do, then we can expect to see the 2.0 style updated release for Wing EW and Wing Zero EW.
Finally Bandai does MG line justice with not requiring stickers or painting on the camera lenses...even the dual camera ones.

    1. Yes. The Wing EW obviously needs a 2.0 because you're too lazy to paint a head camera... I'm sure having a colored clear piece on this kit is ABSOLUTE confirmation that WZ EW 2.0 is coming...
Also, this is in no way the first time bandai does this. But what does someone who doesnt build anything like yourself knows, right?

Guess at least you wont be spamming about the R2 now, though I feel a lot of bragging from your part incoming...

    2. This is not the first Mg with a color molded camera lens.. It takes less then a second to tint clear plastic it's not brain surgery. I personally prefer clear over colored lens since it allows me too customize it.

  3. Thats just pretty simple inner frame

  4. I'm actually disappointed with the inner frame it looks way too simple. And there's barely any parts to certain sections like the legs and torso. I think there is more of a part count in the twin buster rifles than there in any other section. I guess it's not going to be the most complicated build. Otherwise it's awesome that they include all the appropriate colours including the clear pieces. This might be the first MG that doesn't include shiny foil sticker since even the eyes come molded in clear green. regardless in the lack of detail and complexity in the inner frame and build I'm still excited to build it and can't wait to add it to my Wing EW collection.

    1. Mg double bullet had foil eyes, but didn't use it. Mgs are evolving, i know people gripe over inner frames since they pay with their hard earned money. They have a right to.

  5. Inner frame looks kinda sparse, but that might make for a good solid kit. It looks well-molded and sturdy. I might just get one after all. :)

  6. I don't care for inner frame detail. Make it sturdy, use current technology, make it accurate, make it worth the purchase. I still have a HARD time accepting those cut out binders...

    2. You guys seriously need to get over it. I don't want to sound presumptuous but if you guys are fans of Gundam Wing which aired in North America back in the 2000 which was 13 years ago, you should be adults now. You guys should be mature enough to be grateful that we even have a kit that so closely resembles the Gundam from our childhood. Who bloody cares if the wings look a bit off. It still looks like the mobile suit I grew up with and that's what should matter. It's the same ridiculous nonsense people are going on about with the newly announced MG Gundam X. Rather than rejoicing on the fact that Gundam X finally gets the honour of getting a MG, you have some already complaining about the kit better not have foil stickers for the satellite wings and that it should be molded in chrome.

    3. They want to have their cake and eat it too. Doesn't everyone? -_-'

    4. That's exactly my point though. That's not how life is. Anyone who tells you that you can have your cake and eat it as well is either in denial, delusional, has a mental disorder or is part of the 1%(those with too much money that they don't know what to do with it). As for the rest of the world(the 99%) If your an educated and half way rational person than no you wouldn't realistically think you can "have you cake and eat it too". Absolutely asinine.

  7. No sliding thigh armor ? FAIL.
    lol, no just kidding :D

This MG looks fine, no complaint here, but still have hard time to convince me to buy it :/
    It's just looks too... generic.

  8. can someone explain why its using a slightly modified wing 0 custom upper torso ??? i mean wtf ???

    1. Well, "(/[technically]/)" Wing Zero Custom stole the idea from Proto. I mean, the Custom is Katoki-fied to begin with. Why drastically change the already extremely similar base? It was a very SMALL design change for the torso.

  11. how do these guys get model kits when it hasn't been released yet?

  12. I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of mechanical detail in the inner frame, but since most MG WIng kits are like that, it probably shouldn't be an issue with most fans.

I also disliked the wing binders at first, but seeing them detached from the main kit like that kinda made the design grow on me. I still don;t like the shield though. It's a bit too sleek in my opinion.

  13. I actually like these proportions more than the TV design and quite frankly Im not too bothered with the the lack of inner frame detail, as MG Wing was also a little sparse with it and it still is a great kit.

Though....If anyone noticed....the wing binders don't seem moveable vertically...
