if you like the robot damashii i'd say go for it. because the HG just plainly suck, and if you want the RG it'll cost more that robot damashii and you still need to work with the backpack and all those stuff (including scratch built those battery pack)
I would rank: 1. RG set - if you value building a kit rather than just buying an figure I would go for this; in all honestly when you pose Perfect Strike you'll usually have the sword/launcher in its hands anyway so I'm not too crazy about having the extra backpack adapter that the HG has - and this comes with the RG Skygrasper 2. Robot Damashii Perfect Strike - Proportions are decent - if you like to "play" with your figures/gunpla then I would actually recommend getting this - kits are more for display in my opinion because otherwise you'll mess up the decals 3. HG Perfect Strike - the only reason I would ever see myself buying this is for the boxart. I would highly recommend that you don't get this, unless you like the strange proportions and a really simple build - the results in my opinion are mediocre though
I wish there was an hcm pro for this. I really wanted HCM pros for SEED because I got out of models a few years ago and felt HCM pros were truly me, probably because I just never have the time to paint kits and left them closed after I built them.
HCM pros gave me everything and covered detailing without additional need from me and didn't have the terrible build of a GFF.
Its a shame they were discontinued. I haven't gotten a Robot Damashii or a RG but I really doubt the RG can be moved around to much to be used in something like a stop motion.
Well.. With the MG Aile Strike Remaster coming in 2013, I suspect we're going to see a similar updated release and get Skygrasper and Perfect Strike along with all other lines that use the Strike design.
If this was a new frame for the Strike itself it would have been a good buy...but at this rate I'd rather wait to see if a MG Perfect Strike gets made since a remastered Aile Strike is coming along.
It would highlight the fact that the Destiny is just a fast Perfect Strike with Purpole Wings shooting out of it's exhaust vents, and I really doubt Bandai would want that to be highlighted.
From the looks of it, I doubt you'll be able to get Sword Strike or Launcher Strike by itself unless the include the remaining extra parts in another runner, which seems unlikely. Hopefully, if there is an MG release (or as I have mentioned many times, via MG Skygrasper but I digress), this will be taken into consideration :)
I still don't get why Bandai is doing this when they really should have remolded this guy. They're most likely waiting to see how the MG Aile Strike Remaster sells...
Bandai doesn't give a shit about your fandom franchises, Suiton. They kept releasing those damn MG AGE kits of yours (and the recent HGs for that matter, because they could copy at least part of the mold(Shaldoll Rogue, GXiphos, Gransa, fx burst, clanche custom))
Why dont you buy a UC kit and be a little supportive of the Gundam franchise? At least you're not buying the same kit 3 times.
Oh, right! I forgot. You should probably BUILD your kits too.
Wow you need to tone down the anger-meter there bro, no need to spaz out on the guy for making a legit point. And I fail to see how buying one timeline's Gundam kits somehow counts more to supporting the hobby then another. Regardless of whether or not it's a UC, AW, CE or AD timeline kit it's still money going into Bandai's pocket and still shows that fans want more kits.
Hye Gundam Fans. Which one should i get for Perfect Strike?
ReplyDelete- RG Strike + RG Skygrasper
- HG Perfect Strike
- Robot Damashi Perfect Strike
Hope you can advice me on this.
Robot Damashii perfect strike

I still think that this is colossal aesthetic disaster....all those colors, all those imbalanced shapes :P
ReplyDeletethis thing sells concept. the hg sucks because it uses an outdated hg strike.
DeleteAre you talking about drawing in your profile pic?
Deletewhat bandai did is lengthen the aile... anything else?
ReplyDeleteNot feeling it.
ReplyDeleteWith that price, I rather charge more & buy Jesta Cannon.

ReplyDeleteThey could at least make the clown feet smaller..
ReplyDeleteAlso include a stand because this thing won't be able to stand.
Yes, Dem Feet!!
Deletestill used old knee joint eh? thanks god i'm still have a pair custom knee joint from hobby japan + grandslam...
ReplyDeleteOmg all the new parts are gonna be in grey?!
ReplyDeleteObviously it's a prototype.
DeleteThe plates show it's grey dude..
DeleteNot for me. I'd rather have Tony Stark mod it.
ReplyDeletelove the box art!!!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is what Kira should be using in the beginning of Seed Destiny. Leave the Freedom be and use this instead then get the SF

Deleteboxart looks awesome but model kit is crap
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they put all the add-on parts in 1 runner.
ReplyDeleteWould I have to use all the Strike Packs at once or can I use one at a time?

DeleteSorry Bandai but no amount of professional photography can hide the fact you're using crappy mold.

DeletePerfect Clusterfuck Gundam
ReplyDeleteJust when you thought Gundam couldn't become more of a toy commercial.
ReplyDeleteWatch Bandai release a MG Perfect Strike using the frame from the Aile Strike Remaster.
ReplyDeleteDude you already said that
DeleteThis is why people are hostel to you
Why wont you get that repeating the same thing over and over again get on people's nerves
If you're annoyed by his comments, why don't you just ignore him instead of repling?
DeleteAh, good to see that new picture. The new parts won't be gray after all.
ReplyDeleteLooks like if I get this I need to pick up that set of SEED Gundam Markers for coloring, too...
Those FEET!!!!
