My money is on it being the successor to the Winning (with the mk3 lightning and the kamiki burning hanging around). The colours would be right for her too.
Nice Teory There, Based my observation, Scramble Gundam was custom made from Zeta, and then it used BBG, Lightning, Destiny, And build striker pack For inspiration. This may the beggining, yes yes the color is ..... but if next u, wait!!!!!!! I did notice something, Is that Strike freedom backpack looks, I mean that symetrical and that triangel, not all, but there was in there. So for backpack, combination between build striker pack, destiny, and strike freedom ... uhm okay. I wonder about upgrade looks like.

But because the announcement said want to make ova, and the title have deserve name: Island War, this may have been bring to another new level. To be fair, Sekai built his Kamiki Burning with Shia's help and Shia's portent have the ability to self-repair. Shia might have the knowledge to manipulate the Plavsky Particles to make them self-repair

A great OVA. I think this is their way of keeping us occupied while they make a proper season 3 for Build Fighters series. Maybe they will air it side by side with Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2. Imagine how awesome it'll be to get an episode of Build Fighters 1 day, and then another day a new episode of Iron Blooded Orphans.
Umm, just no. After what happened with g-reco i don't want two gundam airing on same season anymore. It need proper ep length and their budget mostly run to gbft. In the end i'm enjoying g-reco more than gbft because try don't have what make gbf great: chemistry of characters relationships.
It's quite tough to strike that perfect balance between jam-packed gundam action with a great plot, I loved both IBO and BFT, I also found 00 to be amazing but Unicorn to be boring as fuck. The MS from all series (except for the monstrosity known as G no Reco) were overall great. It's a matter of what you look for in the Gundam franchise really, whether it's for the plot or the over-the-top action it has
The last 5 minutes of the episode saved it. Otherwise it was mostly meaningless fan service. :-( I was really hoping for more, though I can't say I didn't enjoy watching it. Still hoping for a 2nd season (or a 3rd series)...
I personally found this rather painful to watch. The "love triangle" or hexagon or whatever was one of the things I disliked the most about TRY. They amped it up to 11 in this special. Some parts were embarrassing for the sake of being embarrassing.
Remember the battles of the first Build Fighters? It was all about skill and technique... very little in terms of Super Robot.
TRY used a lot more super robot elements, and increased it as the series progressed. This movie... it went total Super Robot. I mean REALLY?! All the greatest disasters of the Gundam metaverse stopped by a gimmick.
Should they ever go back to Build Fighters, I want them to go back to the series roots and a NEW CAST.
