  1. Splendid fight nice tactics but someone got too full of themselves and Failed!
That's what Teamwork is all about cooperation not being a glory hound
On another note we now know the full cloth crossbone 144 will kinda imitate the MG version of sorts

    1. Yeah, too bad celestial sphere get handicapped (3 ace vs 1 ace and 2 canon fooder.)
And that someone who piloting crossbone isnt that great like the original pilot . He cant even using muramasa blaster like original pilot do.

  2. Huh, so the Gunpla Academy won. I'm actually expecting the Nemesis would win this. Boo! There's no much action from this guy.

  4. It was pretty silly of them to explain how the X1 Full Cloth is so powerful by siphoning power from his teammates. Once that stopped, it was over.

And what is with the cliché ending between Transient and Full Cloth? Seriously? Making you think like that. I think I shouldn't spoil it in case someone reads the comment section before watching the anime.

Funny how they mention Sei and Aila this episode, but again, still no cameo appearance?
Oh and did anyone else notice all the Zeta references like the movie posters?

  8. oh plot armor... i can see the karrols (sp?) patching the g-potent, but that shoulder armor was gone.... and i can accept the ignition mode knock off, but for the love of christ they nerfed the full cloth so damn much, and didn't even use its face open power up having four i-field generators it wouldn't have a need to dodge any beam, especially since each i-field can stay active for five min, and i don't care what the staff is made from the marusume (sp?) blaster has a beam that can cut through anything including i-fields and beam shields. yes we all knew the academy would win (and should have, three super robots vs one OP military mech) but it should have downed one, or at the very least did some irreversible damage, even the majjin vs the k9 sniper wasn't as ass pulley as this... oh and the needing to recharge particle bull as well... well let's hope our friendly neighborhood super robot puts up a better fight next week.

    1. Agree. I am also quite disappointed that they did not make the crossbone use the face open ability and have to charge the particle stuffs. None of the gunpla had to recharge or anything in the series(es) except this episode.

    2. I know right? They made Crossbone look so weak, Obviously all crossbone hater never read the manga.. Lukas never pilot crossbone like Kincaud did or even tobia did. Never using the anchor and the screw whip so often like them

Next fans favourite gunpla, the tryon 3 get kicked. Enjoy it

    3. Did you already forget about the 3 SD kits? 2 of them absorbed particles in a way(charging) theris suits so they can make that stupid SD dragon.

    4. I agree. Murasame Blaster couldn't even reach an expected badass usage nor Peacock Smasher. NO Open Mouth was something to expect. At least amputate some arms or shit like that, but noo, let's go Flamenco and wreck badass asses. :/

  9. The writers just can't bring themselves to have anyone in Gunpla Academy lose before facing Team Try Fighters, and that's why Lucas Nemesis didn't seem so good in this episode. I'd have had Gundam The End go down to an explicit lucky cheapshot in the form of that footstab, the Transient-Crossbone duel conclude with both Gundams beaten, and the match won by GA only on a technicality by Shia jumping out and revealing that she'd repaired her G-Portent (i.e. we wouldn't have seen it since it went and hid to self-repair). That would also result in Gunpla Academy becoming less overconfident, and so they'd take Team Try Fighters much more seriously as challenges knowing it was possible to lose.

Honestly I think I'd also have switched around Junya and Sakai's battles and introduced Junya a lot earlier as an antagonist. Build Fighters Try's problem as a show is partly that it lacks convincing villains, and what "villains" there are never defeat anyone we actually care about, as opposed to, say, Aila vs. Fellini. It's hard to get worked up about any of the characters as what convincing opponents there are basically show up for one real battle and lose it. On balance, there should probably have been a team made up solely of significant opponents from the first half who team up to take down Try Fighters, too - another of the show's problems is that it's not very good at managing the teamwork element, so we have teams like Junya's and Sakai's and Lucas Nemesis's which basically have just one real character.

    1. Let's not forget there are "hidden enemies" inlcuding Yuuma's first nemesis (not Adou Saga) which is a different character as i look at it...

    2. Teamwork concept doesn't even work on Shonen, only on Sentai, and this is Shonen/Mecha. Bad combo with this sequel :/

  10. I really hate this episode, at least make one or two of gunpla academy heavily damaged

Well at least I'll get that full cloth for sure

  11. Everyone's complaining about the Crossbone being defeated and I'm just laughing that the Gundam The End ATE THAT GUY'S FACE OFF.
I mean, why are we not talking about this?

    1. Our complaints are valid. We are fans of Gundam. We loved the first season. The writers have continuously failed a majority of the episodes for BFT. We are kind of pissed that quality in the story and animation has gone down. I'd give BF a B+. It had it's faults, but was overall great. BFT deserves a solid D.
