  1. http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Sakibure variant , of a non combat suit, much 00 love this season, kind of strange. But lots of nice designs.

    1. Maybe the kit will give you parts to make the Sakibure, that would be cool.

    1. It's not 00 Qan[T] It's a Sakibure http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GNW-100A_Sakibure

  5. So... it's probably actually Portanto, as in "portent" in Portuguese. Fits the whole Transient / The End theme too.

    1. Hey I just realized you might be able to customize it to make an actual Sakibure

  7. I think that's a custom Sakibure from A Wakening of the Trailblazer.

  8. Well 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

  9. Very interesting design.

  10. That is sick. Hopefully they'll be releasing Transient Gundam alongside this as well!

  11. Potential for more 00 kits? YES PLEASE!

    1. It only has one, those other two bump things on the back are like GN verniers or something like that, kind of like what they have on the stern of the Ptolemaios

  15. wow out of the three i didn't think we would get this one... least not first, now just waiting on the other two... bandai would stupid not to do them

  16. As nice as this looks, why is it based on the Sakibure? AFAIK, the Sakibure never had any kits made, and it has already been over 4 years since AWotTB, and the HG00 line hasn't had any new kits produced since then. Plus, unless you've watched the movie recently, the Sakibures are kinda forgettable, since they didn't do anything aside from just fly around and look pretty at the end. Is Bandai going to be going the same route with HG00 line that they did when they briefly revived HGSEED line? I know this'll probably open the floodgates for a certain someone's inevitable wishlists to pour in, but this thing's release does make it a legit question, since Bandai loves to reuse molds when they can, so it's not totally out of the question that the mold is going to be reused for the original design like Crossbone Maoh's was.

    1. I just recently watched Trailblazer again and the Sakibure got like 10 seconds of screen time after the credits finished. I didn't get it at first either. However, Build Fighters is all about gimmicks. I'm betting that it features the Quantum Teleportation System and Trans-Am System that the Sakibure is listed as having even though we never saw either from it in the film. If it weren't for the QT System and Trans-Am then there wouldn't be much of a point to this. I expect it will be interesting to see in battle for the show.

    2. Well the Crossbone Gundam Maoh came before the HGUC Crossbone Gundam, so maybe the Sakibure will be added to the HG00 line or possibly Bandai will start HGAD for all the 00 MS that were never made into kits or to revise some that were already made.

    3. .... bandai could really stand to remake the flag series.... awesome suit crummy kit....

      Delete
  17. is this suit base on the G-self or the 00 Qan[t]?

    ReplyDelete
  18. so having a better look at this than what we get in the intro, it is clear the academe's suits are based off exia so i wonder if the end is as well since we only have several seconds of its actual body and those aren't that clear... my only complaint is why exia there are other 00 suits that need love too, like the reborn's or arios or one of the freshite (have no clue on spelling there) team's units (other than astria) hell even a custom gadess or any of the gny series. i mean sure setusna abuses the magic of gn particles the most but it's not like his suits were the only ones able to do it....

    1. this isnt based on the Exia, its based on the Sakibure which showed up at the very end of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Awakening of the Trailblazer

      Delete
    2. Gundam TheEnd is based on Gundam Deathscythe Hell in wing series not Exia.

      Delete
    3. @Jimmy
You think so? I thought it reminded me more of the Master Gundam and Devil Gundam mixed... Hm...

      Delete
    4. Actually Setsuna's mobile suits are the only ones with those awesome abilities, the 00Raiser and 00Qan[T] are the only ones with Original GN drives that have the ability to communicate telepathically and have that massive particle output

  19. I guess this suit is supposed to indicate that something bad is going to happen very soon? O_o
I mean that's what the definition of portent is...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hold on that's not a 0, 00, or quanta. That's a modified GNW-100A Sakibure.
Do we even have a modal of the normal type GNW-100A Sakibure?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No. Never saw a point in making one for a mobile suit that appears for 10 seconds in a film at the very VERY end of the movie.

      Delete
    2. Very observant, congrats for not thinking it was an Exia

      Delete
  21. Clearly a Sakibure custom. Wow! Would never have expected a mobile suit that appeared at the end of the 00 movie for a few seconds get a HG model kit, and we dont have a HG GN-XIV or fully articulated Seravee II.

    1. I think it's good that they made a custom of the Sakibure, it's something nobody would expect, and make it more well known

  22. WTF, where's Transient Gundam or Gundam The End?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Transient is coming out in April, can't wait! ...The End, don't know, don't care, it'll probably be a bad model kit anyway...

      Delete
  23. BTW GN Archer and 00 Quanta based?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's heavily Sakibure and slightly Exia based, but not much Exia

      Delete
  24. Dark matter, amazing exia, transient gundam, and now portent. Why dont they use another gundam, 4 exia mod in this anime is too many...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. portent is not base off exia though. It from sakibure in 00 trailblazer movie

    2. You can never have too many Exia variations...NEVER!

      =)

    3. Actually she did have an exia box on the table where she was sleeping.

  25. Wow! The opening credits of the show revealed too much; also the kit design looks so ugly.

    1. I could tell it was based on the Sakibure right away, but I think it's nice to have a mobile suit that is more curved and rounded for a change.

  26. Based on Exia+Stargazer I see...

    1. Quite close but its resemblence more to sakibure from the last scene of AWOT

    2. Exia+Stargazer? Wrong & wrong.

    1. LOL
I actually thought of that for a second. I'm pretty sure that when someone gets a hold of this guy, we'll be seeing a Frieza color scheme custom...

  28. looking at the legs and rifle i think it's maybe a transformable gundam. At the end of episode 15 the preview says this gundam kickasses on the next episode though.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sorry, but the Sakibure does not transform, I guess the backpack does though

      Delete
  29. A lot of people here seem to be confused about this. The Portent is based both on the Sakibure and the ELS Quanta which is what was apparently stated by someone on the production staff. As for what a Portent is, it's a sign or warning of a calamity or imminent disaster in the near future.

  30. HG00 Sakibure Confirmed? HGAD Exia?

Now talking without wishlist mode on,it seems so.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Based off of the Exia and something else (model-wise)

I do agree that the Sakibure was what they were going for, its the spitting image, no doubt. (final design)

    ReplyDelete
  32. The legs and the attachment of the wings and the forehead is from the Sakibure the chest is loosely based on the Exia, you can see boxes of the Exia on Shia's desk in episode 16

    ReplyDelete
  33. I thought it was based on the Sakibure from the first time I saw it in the 2nd theme song, I can't believe I was right!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Does anyone think the rifle is from the F91 backpack/rifle that slides forward ? It really looks like a modified version

    ReplyDelete
  35. All the rounded proportions and little wings sticking out everywhere strangely give me a bug feeling about this suit..

    ReplyDelete
  36. does it already come with the flyer? or do we get that separately?

    ReplyDelete
  37. how much of it is the portent flyer? all the little wings? i want to see it without it on

    ReplyDelete
  38. Given the name, are we sure there's no Reconguista In G element to this thing's design? It's obviously mainly Exia plus Sakibure, but the roundedness in the design gives me some of that G-Reco vibe, too.
