  1. Holy smokes that's awesome. So the gold is the HD remaster kind of gold eh? I can live with that.

  2. Not even chromed for 7200 yen? Maybe if the price was lower sure but no way is it worth that if I have to chrome it myself

    1. That depends, do you really want to put in the time and effort to chrome paint it yourself? I have no doubt that it would be awesome to see this kit in a shiny gold finish, but the real question is are YOU willing to put the energy and time investment that it would take to make that kit look that good?

    2. Chrome finish like on Phenex is pig disgusting. This matte metallic is classy as hell. Learn to have good taste.

    9. I think the point it was trying to make was that the price is 7000Yen for a kit that doesn't look like a 7000yen kit.

    10. I agree that matte gold is better than the chrome one but don't you guys think that the price should be lower since it is not chrome plated? Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought chrome-plated kits cost much than matte gold.

  3. Definitely prefer this HD color gold than that bling bling gold.

  4. It is HD gold/titanium gold, though you could achieve the same via painting.

  5. I have to add that the old one in HD is 4800, so 2.0 is exactly 1.5x more, are we getting 50% more runners for complete inner frame.

    1. Not exactlt 1.5x, since this is 6800 yen (7344 yen is with 8% tax included).
Btw the usual chrome plating gets smudged way too easily by fingerprints. This is much better IMO.

  6. Also tbh the softer, metallic sheen looks much classier than chrome, imo, and it shows off the features of the design much better.

    1. Though I prefer this gold over the chrome finish, i hope they justify that 7200 price tag with some kind of accessory (Mega Bazooka anyone?)

    2. Its price 6800 yen (w/o a tax). So it will costs about 5500 yen on HLJ.

    3. Exactly! I don't mind how the gold is, in fact i prefer it that way, but it is not worth 7000 yen!

  9. Those thumb joints look really weird, as if they're jointed on the inside of the hand rather than the side.

  10. Everybody losing their minds on that gold finish, yall don't even notice those new sexy sets of manipulators. they probably perfected it.

    1. Sorry for not knowing how to paint, apparently everybody who's into this hobby for collecting and not being a "pro" in painting is lower than you, you piece of cunt flap, gago. and this HD gold is way better than that chrome shit, you fucktard.

  12. the palms seem oversized...same issue like rx8-2 ver3 which reusing nu ver ka's palm??

  13. I hope this kit fitted with 2.0 kits hands/manipulators. The 3.0 manipulators are just too fragile to pose or to be played with.

  14. It seems to be a Nu ver. Ka like build in construction and quality ( judging from the shoulder and ankle joints ) so that might be their reasoning behind the price. Perhaps.

  15. As much as I prefer this kind of gold over that crappy fingerprint magnet chrome gold, I hope they justify that 7200 yen price tag with some kind of gimmick or accessory (Mega Bazooka anyone?)
