    1. Z's 30th Anniversary. Maybe for 08th MS Team we get something too,it's their 20th along with Wing TV.

    2. When that time comes it better happen. *rubs hands vigorously*

    3. Bandai actually displayed this kit at an event with the Mk. II and Zeta besides it, check it out http://gunplafrica.blogspot.com/2015/03/early-returns-are.html. Wonder if that means Ver. 3's are coming?

  4. more details and pictures please... I wonder if this is chrome plated... how else would they justify the cost of 7,000+ YEN

    1. I really hope its the HD gold.

      Delete
    2. You're probably right, there wouldnt be any other reason to charge 7000 yen other than to gold plate it

      Delete
    3. It most likely will be. The 1.0 is ass and you still pay $50+ because of the plating.

      Delete
  5. 7000?! This will be chrome that part is obvious. BUT at his day and age this should also be undergated!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I hope the hands are different. Those first hands were terrible.

  7. Do I smell am incoming mg mega shiki????

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No. Mega shiki is based on the delta gundam. The delta is the the MSV of Hyaku Shiki and has no MG. Unless we get the mg delta ,there's no mega shiki.

      Delete
    2. And the Delta is based on the Hyaku Shiki... Its only a matter of time until we get both.

      Delete
    3. Why the do you think the legs bend? Hyaku shiki-delta-mega.

      Delete
    4. Hyaku-Delta-Plus-Mega-Kai* my friend. It's not the original order, but it sounds cool

      Delete
    5. Nope, what you're smelling is smegma

      Delete
    6. Technically, Hyaku Shiki is based ON Delta, not backward.

      Delete
  8. Nice! Bandai let's see a MG 2.0 Alex, 2.0 Kampfer, and my most favorite, MG HYGOGG!

    1. True~~~! I do wait for MG Hygogg~~~~~~

    2. I really do wait for a MG Hygogg, someday! One of my all time favourites

  9. Woah! Heck yeah! But the price though, too bad I can't afford it.

Hope they just made the gold like the one that has a ballute system.

    1. MG hyaku with ballut? That's not gold you're talking about, that kit has piss yellow color.

  10. This announcement totally steal the show!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Lol at that price, over twice the original Hyaku Shiki.

Still, this is a pleasant surprise. Here's hoping it will have a decent gold plating (like the HD Color 1.0).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'm surprised it's not 3 times the original price

      Delete
    2. I see what you did there lol

      Delete
  12. The legs can bend like the Delta Plus MG, which is odd considering Hyaku Shiki doesnt Wave Rider mode, but the thighs are different. Why did Bandai put that mechanism in this suit?
Is this a nod to a possible MG Delta Kai and/or Delta Gundam???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. because originally the Hyaku Shiki was supposed to be able to transform to WR mode. It was a testbed for the Zeta Gundam. Instead the HS wasnt to be so it became a MS as you know
Bandai probably put those gimmicks there to represent its backstory

      Delete
    2. the hyaku shiki was meant to be transformable but they rush it and so it wasnt complete. ( when complete it will be delta gundam)

      Delete
    3. Of course. Bandai wants to milk molds as often as they can.

      Delete
    4. Do you really want a HG-like Knee bent, where the Knee doesn't move separately? Wow.

      Delete
  13. This thing better be undergated. I don't want to spend 7000yen on this kit to have to strip the plating off and repaint it, like the Phenex. Gold plating is nice, but nub marks are unsightly, even when touched up with gold paint.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. To all the people saying that this thing better be undergated: The original MG Hyaku Shiki was one of, if not THE, first Gundam kit to use undergates. There is no way, no way at all, that this will not. The reason the Phenex isn't undergated was because the molds were designed for the Unicorn, which didn't need to be undergated.

  14. So what's next? ZZ's 30th anniversary in 2016?

  18. The fuck happened to the 3.0 line?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hyaku shiki didn't get 2.0 treatment before, which is more ridiculous if it instantly get 3.0.

      Delete
    2. 2.0 comes before a 3.0 learn to count.

      Delete
    3. How do you expect them to have made Hyaku Shiki 3.0 without 2.0?

      Delete
    4. Nothing?
They never made a 2.0 for Hykau Shiki so naturally 2.0 is the one we'd get.

      Delete
    5. You're looking at it. The 3.0 wasn't meant to be a line: it was to debut certain innovations and improvements on the Master Grade offerings. Most of the newer kits have sliding armor, undergated runners, even the emotion manipulators if it was possible. Obviously, the 3.0 was called 3.0 because it officially debuted with the 3rd version of the RX-78-2 MG. You can't call the Hyaku Shiki a 3.0 because there's never been a 2.0.

      Delete
    6. There was never a 3.0 line. There was a 3.0 RX-78-2 because they already had a 2.0 and they wanted to try and improve it. Unless they want to improve on the 2.0 releases for the Zaku, Zeta, Mk II, or Gouf kits there is no reason for a 3.0.

As it is I think they have improved the design process enough that there shouldn't be that many kits that require a 3.0 to fix problems they couldn't solve with a 2.0 release or even got right with the initial release.

      Delete
    7. hey dickwad, do you know how to count? did you know that 2 comes after 1, and not 3?
It's MSG zeta's 30th anniversary so expect some new modelkits from the series.

      Delete
    8. You would need a hyaku shiki 2.0 before you could get a hyaku shiki 3.0 dummy. The only kits that can get a 3.0 release are kits that have already had a 2.0 release. Learn to math.

      Delete
    9. It seems to have gone MIA. Kinda weird since Bandai made such a big deal about it and all we got was an RX-78-2. I was expecting some Zakus to follow it. Though if you're asking why the Hyaku Shiki isn't getting a 3.0 that's probably because there was no 2.0 until now.

      Delete
    10. Milk a 2.0 Inner Frame + re-scale some parts from the RG = 3.0! Oh,and the extra weapons that came with the 2.0? DON'T WORRY,P-BANDAI!

  19. Does it come with a ballute system?!! (Bottom right pic)

    2. But the pegs are for 3.0 hands. fucking bandai, what you up to this time.

  23. Are they using the 3.0 hands? Can't really tell from the pics. (cross fingers hoping it is indeed the 3.0 hands)

    1. The answer is no. Those are the MG Rick Dias hands. Which is disappointing.

      Delete
    2. Look at the rifle and the beam sabers, they are fit for the 3.0 hands

      Delete
    3. The peg doesn't make them a 3.0 hand. The fingers and hands looks the ones on the MG Rick Dias not 3.0 hands.the fingers look like the only have 2 joints like all 2.0 hands, Dom, and Rick Dias hands.

  24. I think the leg part is for it to post with Zeta in wave rider mode. Then 100 can actually look like its riding Zeta like in the anime.

    1. Why I would pay just for a MBL when I can pay the same for the actual MG that has it + some paints to match them with the chest?

      Delete
    2. The problem is, there's no 1/100 MBL.

      Delete
  26. I'm passing on this guy.
Maybe...maybe if Bandai reuses this mold to make a MG for Mega Shiki, I might get that since I do enjoy Build Fighters & Build Fighters Try a lot.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Sure, don't buy this kit. After all, you're upset that Sunrise/Bandai prioritizes Zeta's 30th anniversary rather than Wing's 20th anniversary (thus making the Wing suits from your wishlist still unreleased)

      Delete
    2. Not just that, you seem to be upset that Bandai isn't making MGs out of anything with a GN Drive as well.

I got a few suggestions for you:
      - Customize and paint
      - Engage in a 'Gundoom' maker
      - Start your own plamo firm with a production factory
      - Cut down on whatever weed shit you're smoking

      Delete
    3. Couldn't you invest on some paint and paint this yourself?

      Delete
    4. bandai makes an mg for their special baby suiton
and then he fucking decides to do it again

  27. Omgvivliterallyvwill get back into building and stop drinking delicious craft beer if this is true. I have the zeta and mk ll 2.0 waited forever for this

    ReplyDelete
  28. Am I the only one here that's glad it doesn't have the PG-like hands?

    ReplyDelete
  29. New official CG image has it as chrome(ultra reflective plating) while real life hobbyshow one is HD gold. hmm

    ReplyDelete
  30. The MSRP is 6800 yens on the barcode btw.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Glad that they did the gold coating right this time. Still doesn't justify the price, 5500 yen would've been plenty.

Still, this is one kit I wouldn't mind getting if it really lives up to its expectations.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'll just sit here , waiting for my MG Baund Doc T_T

    ReplyDelete
  33. So it would appear this guy does in fact come in the chrome gold. I thought it would be like a metallic style gold color..

Interesting. So I guess the expensive price is explained.

    ReplyDelete
  34. So MG 3.0 is dead?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Uh no? There was never a 2.0 for this guy. That's why it's being called 2.0...

      Let's practice numbers...

      1 2 3

      Was that hard?

      Delete
    2. 3.0 was never meant to be a fucking line, GET OVER IT.

      Delete
    3. Why the fuck would they release a 3.0 for this guy if it's a TBR 2.0?

      Delete
    4. Jeez, you guys just don't get it, do you? There's no 3.0 or 2.0. They're just numbers. 3.0 was called as such because the tech was officially unveiled with RX-78-2 version 3 which tried to incorporate most of the new features like the emotion manipulators, detailed and sliding armor. It's supposed to show how far gone the technology for making Master Grades are compared to the early ones. There's no 3.0 line. There are only two MG lines: the standard and Ver Ka.

Most Master Grades prior to the release of Nu Gundam ver Ka were operating on 2.0 tech without being labeled 2.0. You can even say that 2.0 still exists on a lot of newer models especially the non-UC ones. 3.0 is, as of the moment, mainly UC, but the details, and sliding armor are slowly creeping into non-UC lines as well.

      Delete
    5. Are you retarded?

      Delete
    6. Probably not. It just a MG of a RG in my eyes.

      Delete
  35. @ Anon 10:47: No it does not transform. The Hyaku Shiki doesn't do that...

@Anon 1:21: They could hardly make a 3.0 when there isn't even a 2.0 could they? Also I don't think Bandai really intended the 3.0 to be a line at all.

    ReplyDelete
  36. wish theyd have actual pictures of it chromed up instead of cg pictures, but I guess by the previous pictures, theyre still working on the prototype.
also, I think the 2.0/3.0 stuff is more saying its the second and third fully redesigned models. the rx-78-2 ver 1.5 was almost all new, while the 2.0 was all new, and then the 3.0 was all new.

    ReplyDelete
  37. To those who moaned that the price is worth a chrome finished! THERE YOU HAVE IT! HURRAY!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I wonder is this'll get 2.0 Zaku style hands, 3.0 or the weird Marasai/Geara Doga pseudo posable hands.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Nah it will be uses 2.0 hand ( sad )
