  1. I was expecting something great from that Shimon guy. In the end I got very disappointed. He is just for fill up. Bet they will put that damned kawagama or kawaiiuchi or whathever the man's name is. And I bet he will be the one taking the glory.

  3. Angelfish.
So they really are betting on their luck.
    Quickly animated one round.

Science Club, Swim Club and now Aristocracy Department?
    Any club does gunpla battle!

So the Destiny guy has a team.
    Rather bland team mates :P
Just 2 extras so he can join.
So the U-19 is strictly only for teams of 3?
    No solo type then.

A boxer who integrates swords and guns to boxing?
Holding/spinning 2 control globes allow equal control as using the Mobile Trace system, amazing!

    So its a sick brother.
I was too negative to think a dead brother in episode 4 :P
    Its a kids show!

The moral conflict cliché, will probably end with a good hot-blooded fight.
    Then both becoming friends.

Yuuma is the only one who keeps tinkering and perfecting his gunpla.
Adding more plastic and sanding it sharper :P

    The kids are thinking hard.
Reiji couldn't have done so, he would just do his best to win.

Sekai decides to be true to himself.

Mirai takes China's place as battle watching buddy?

Shimon's team mates were left out, no sortie message.
At least they have names and are in the official site.
The Angelfish team is a pure joke, not in the website at all.

A field-out is whats isn't governed by the damage level set.
Lightning Gundam is chipped, Yuuma have some puttying and sanding to do.
Maybe the shield connector is broken too T^T

lol, the 'psycho' attack by the team mates worked.
    The 2 softies are shaken!

So full of cliché this episode :P

Yajima should have made the field-out area into soft flooring.

Shimon is such a let down, using swords and guns.
Ok, whatever it takes to win. Use everything.
Boxing is his trump card like the Winning Road.

Shimon is that powerful to use a straight build Destiny to deal heavy damage a Sei built Build Burning!
Build Burning can only deal that much damage to a straight build Destiny? Sekai still needs training?

Emotion and passion easily does miracle and overwrite whatever technology.
Yup, this is an anime :P

Huh? Those hardpoints behind are boosters?

So Shimon is now out of the picture.
We still have Sakai, the Megashiki team, Yuuki, Lady, Ponytail guy and specs guy.
That guy that defeated young Yuuma too (ponytail guy?).

    1. What's with the long post? Do we have a new breed of suiton here?

    2. No Anon 7:22, you shut up

    3. I agree with Anon 7:22. We don't need to see this kind of long commentary here. Give your opinions on the episode? Fine. But don't go overboard or you'll just bore people reading it.

    4. What's wrong with using swords and guns anyway?

    5. I'm with Anon 7:22, that post is literally just a timeline of your thoughts. Write that out more constructively next time or save it for your gundam journal.

  5. I hope we will get a HG destiny impulse like shimon's little brother made, well and I like shimon better than shinn too hha

  6. Really makes me wish that they had actually released a Windam kit.

  7. not trying to be "that guy" but... wouldn't the destiny have blown off its fingers with the shining punches? i mean it's using the the palm thingy not the beam shields, and it could have used the wings of light better, like for some afterimage boxing dodges

    1. Technically, yes. It has blasters in its palms and balling a fist for a punch while unleashing that energy is like pulling the pin off a grenade and punching somebody while still holding onto the grenade. It's a straight assembly build and it doesn't make sense, but it worked like it did anyway because something something anime it just does.

I also thought it was strange and disappointing that the wings of light didn't utilize the afterimages. If they do trans-am and super mode then why neglect a signature ability of the gundam? It was a great battle, but these things did throw me off while I was watching the episode.

I would have loved for their match to have ended in a draw like Star Build Strike vs Fenice. For their rematch we could have seen Shimon come back with Destiny Impulse or even a custom Destiny Impulse after Shimon's little brother was inspired by seeing the Build Burning Gundam. Unfortunately, if we see Shimon return with Destiny Impulse it may be similar to Ricardo Fellini and Mao Yasaka. We didn't get to see anything truly awesome like in their fights against the Star Build Strike using their new and improved gundams and that's something I still feel let down about with the time-skip in this second season. Worst possible outcome is Shimon was an emotional and exciting speed bump and disappears like Julian Ayers Mackenzie and we don't see a Destiny gundam again.

    2. How if Shimon is not into gundam series especially GSD, that can explain why he cannot utilize Destiny's WoL because he don't know anything about Destiny at all. Just like what we seen, he participated on gunpla battle only for make his brother better. Sekai just flip his switch and make him know about joy of gunpla battle. I bet he will be a good rival for Sekai; no knowledge about gundam and gunpla, martial arts user, and hotblood too.

  10. my love for destiny gundam is re-ignited after watching this ep...

  11. I'm hoping that Shimon returns (with a custom gunpla by Mamoru) much like how Gyanko and Minato Sakai keep appearing in episodes. They're good 'rivals' to the members of team Try Fighters.

  12. Kinda feel like Shimon is a better pilot than Shinn. I also love how they make Destiny Gundam fight in a different style other than just swinging its huge Anti-Ship Sword or ASS.

    1. I'm agree with you, he's very manly and even if he didn't into a gunpla he can actualy DAMAGED a world-class gunpla with a snap-fit gunpla, that's a big plus. He's also admit that he's lose to his brother, not like shinn who cannot even accept someone else thought
