  1. Nice reference to G Gundam at the beginning of the episode. So... Sekai's Master it's training on Guiana, huh?

  2. *sigh* I really not into the "smart guy/brash guy" rivalry dynamic that this show has taken too. Hope they toned it down within a few episodes and have them become friends sooner. Aside from that, good episode. And poor Ral.

    1. Yeah its better if they just started out as friends as soon as possible. Forget all that development stuff and just have them as best of pals right away. Also they should have their gundams at their "final forms" already. Have their characters develop like in the unicorn movie! *sarcasm

    2. Can't we have character development that doesn't need the Brawn vs Brain shtick in the same team?

We are gonna get quite a few antagonists /rival characters in the show, so why add more with this cliche? Just saying.

If you fancy that sorta plotline, I'm cool with that. I don't mean to rag on people on that, but I maybe just tired of the trope. Blame shonen jump.

Just my 2 cents on the matter. That's all.

    3. Because that's won't do on team which is established with peoples that only met recently unless you're already familiar with another person, i.e classmate, childhood friend like Fumina-Yuuma, or have almost same way of thinking. If you ever watch Danball Senki series before, you'll see fine example about what I say. In 1st DB, main protag team is already-know-each-other classmates. On W, it have the third composition of team member. And then on Wars you met team composition like try fighter: 2-classmates and 1 new person.

Because something like rival and antagonist they need to overcome their difference, which is to be the main focus on early episodes of Try. How can you defeat your oponent which is formed of well-chemistry member, like Kaouruko team if your team cannot have good chemistry? And I think because GBF Try's genre is shounen already (though maybe not writen) sunrise use this trope.

  3. On Gyanko's team, there's obviously the reference to Gyan and the Noble gundam, but what was the third member of their team? I don't recognize it.

  5. In the OP in the Meijin scene.
Feels as thought Tatsuya's spirit is in the gunpla, lol.
    Then that female sunglass...

    Love changes Miyaga.

Nice to see the club having a responsible teacher-in-charge and coach.
Ah..if only there was such club in my school days.

Theres speakers in the virtual cockpit?
Even though Ral-san is in the same room?

Ok, so Sei participated in the 11th tournament after the 7th.
Wonder what happened then? Will it have anything to do with the current story?
Anyway nice to have more of Build Burning's backstory.

    World-level potential?
So Build Burning won't have upgrades anytime soon?
    Unless Sekai surpass that potential?

So Ral-san is now 42 years old?
    Forever 35..?

    Since elementary school!
Wow, how commonplace gunpla is in their world never cease to amaze me!

Wonder how is Susumu after 7 years?

    Martial arts defy logic.
I suppose coming up could be a team with some anti-martial arts strategy.
Then further up some fighter also skilled in martial arts.

Try Fighters will be a formidable force after they get their teamwork up.
Hmm, was the 11th tournament a team tournament? Or theres always been team and solo types?

    Woah!
Next episode, Musha Godmaru and Kouki Gundam!!
