  1. Very sneaky Gundam Guy. I saw the first image and thought OH MY GOSH MASTER GRADE! Praise to the Bandai!
And then I read the 1/100 Customize... My dreams of the Master Grade variation has been eliminated. Bandai would be very intelligent to create a Master Grade for these two units.

  2. Wow looks great! I can't imagine even the MG looking this good when we eventually get it. I can tell the modeler used the MG Freedom as a base along with the 1/100 HG DX parts and custom scratch building parts. Great choice with the Freedom since it's design was inspired by the DX so logically it would have compatible aesthetics. My only negative would have to be that the wings seem to be a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the presentation. Didn't the original 1/100 HG wings come in chrome plated in gold and have circular rivet patterns on the service? Not sure why the modeler got rid of that and went with a flat surfaced wings with a dull gold paint. It just doesn't match up with the rest of the amazing little details that you see on this kit. Overall it's near masterful work.

    1. the 1/100 HG DX's wings have always been underwhelming. Unlike the Freedom's which are really huge when spread out, the DX's are tiny in comparison... I do feel that the wings parts of the 1/100 may give the HGAW 1/144 DX the intimidating effect some of us are looking for, but sadly I have not bought the HGAW 1/144 yet so I haven't tried. Alternatively, people should try to modify the DX's wings more since the current use of the 1/100 as it is, is very lacking.

    2. How do you tell it used MG Freedom and not MG X?

    3. I wasn't referring to the size of the wings when I mention the underwhelming effect of them. I was referring more to the lack of detail and visual flare of the wings. With the amount of detail the modeler added to this kit making it on the level of recent ver ka MG kits. I felt the wings didn't have that same detail or visual flare and looked rather dull which is why it seemed out of place.

    4. @Eko Prasetyo When you have been into the hobby as long as I have you just developed this skill to be able to tell where certain parts are from. I'm also a pretty detail oriented person majoring in animation so I do look at things differently than others. If you look at the entire legs, parts of the arms and torso, although it has been modified you can still see remnants of the freedom design. This is especially apparent in the upper thighs and the calves that are very unique to the MG freedom design.
