  1. Papercraft: poor man's version of gunpla through a waste of paper; aka dust-magnet,non-water proof and it will also turn yellow with prolonged exposure to light.

    1. Open your eyes, pull your head out of your ass, not necessarily in that order, and take another look at the photos. You clearly know as little about papercraft as you do about gunpla.
This is 'papercraft' in the sense that the base material is paper. It is very obvious that the parts have been built to thick layers and lacquered for structural strength and yes, moisture resistance; the same techniques cosplayers use to make armor and weapons.
How did I figure this out? BECAUSE IT IS SIX FEET TALL AND CONTAINS ELECTRONICS. It has to be strong enough to support the weight, and able to resist humidity and the occasional Mountain Dew splash from grubby slack-jawed fanboys. It's not going to suffer from light exposure any more than a clearcoated paint job would.
Now tell me with a straight face that you could do better.
When you are through, take a look at the posts for the Exia and Zeta that the same builder made.

  2. Let us not stoop to the levels of this uneducated man. Made props to this guy and I have to say I'd love to see something like this in the US. The time and love he put into the papercraft is worthy of love and admiration. To the negative poster I'd suggest looking at papercraft tutorials before casting judgement, so you can see that just like gunpla, it take time and dedication.
