  1. Dammit.I want the ground gundam. But I'm really.curious on how they will do the inner frame on the zgok. I bet the GM will be the next rg too follow the UC line.

    1. I'd love to see that RG GM. The line art from before was nice, and I bet they would improve on it upon announcing and developing it.

But, since the next UC real grade will be next year sometime, I'm really hoping for the GP03s.

  2. OMG! Just 2 days ago I almost place an order for the MG Char's Z'Gok! Luckily I bailed out. Can't wait for this!

But are you sure it's Char's? That unit number, max and standard weight is the regular Mass Produced Z'Gok.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yep the weight and max weight values match the standard Zgok, not Chars. Regardless, they will sell both colors, but Char's may end up Japan "premium" exclusive, fucking everyone else over as usual.

Japan = master race to Bandai.. sieg heil. :/

      Delete
    2. Any time Bandai has the chance they lead with a Char suit and then follow up with the mass production version as there's generally little difference between the two like the RG Char's Zaku vs RG Zaku.

      Delete
    3. both? like the Zaku & Mk-II release.

      Delete
    4. maybe they're doing what they did with the Zaku 2 and releasing two variants.

      Delete
    5. Well Char's Z'Gok is really only different because of its custom paintjob (and that Char uses it), so #, mass and weight should be pretty much the same.

      Delete
    6. I think it will be like the rg zaku, char first then the mass produce version. Why waste such a beutiful frame when u can capitalise on 2 models. You guys realised something? july rg releases always seem to have 2 release. either it is char stuff or a mobile suit with 2 different forms. we have rg char zaku and green mass produced ones.2 gundam mkii AEUG and TITANS. GP01 and GP01FB. Most is july release. Well, may be just coincidental any ways.

      Delete
    7. they will probably release both. Char's may be first with a mass production version released a few months later similar to the RG Zaku II

      Delete
    8. You could paint it. :P
Or does Char's Z'gok have something different? :S

      Delete
    9. You can always paint it red, and there you go 3X Faster!

      Delete
    10. @Savvi I'm almost positive that there is nothing different outside of the color schemes, despite the mechanics being different. The mechanics have no bearing on the models though, obviously. Power output, thruster power, and acceleration are just "for fun" stats. :P

    11. First anon 10:18 here.
All the hobby shops just confirmed it's Char's version. Pre-ordered done!

This is going to be awesome! Can't wait for the Gouf and Ground Type to be somewhere next along the year.

      Delete
    12. Char's z'gok have 4claws on each arms,instead 3 on mass production unit...

      Delete
    13. @shaqzone, you're wrong on that. Check the animation, line art, and many photos his Z'Gok only has 3 claws. Bandai threw in the 4 claw "option" to differentiate commander models from regular ones for aesthetic purposes.

      Delete
    14. Yep...totally missed that one.thanks for pointing it out man.
I'm sure have to watch back the series.

      Delete
  3. Perhaps I underestimate the popularity of the Z'Gok or Char's suits, but... they're choosing to release this before the Gouf?

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm still surprised about Z'gok being a testbed for the RG to this day. But to make it into a reality?!

    ReplyDelete
  5. i was expecting 00 raiser after they launch exia..but this z'gok also cool....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. it SHOULD be next after the z'gok
cause if you haven't noticed they break up the series so they dont release suits from the same series back to back. like what they did between the destiny and the strike freedom

      Delete
  6. Seeing as how they did Regular Zaku II and Char's Zaku II. I think it is safe to say they would do both regardless, only real major difference kit wise is the color.

    ReplyDelete
  7. They'll probably release a mass production type Z'gok.
Then have Char's version as P-Bandai exclusive.
    Or vice versa. :))

    ReplyDelete
  8. how about we get more Zeon suits overall? This is the second mold so far compared to what? Four - five lead suits from seed? Give us more antagonist suits dammit.

this might be the first use of a new 'larger' MS joint for figures that exceed the sweet spot they've been hitting with releases so far. Maybe we can expect a Gelgoog down the line. Maybe a Sazabi or Sinanju.

    ReplyDelete
  9. They're probably gonna have both the standard and Char's version just like RG Zaku II.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Maybe we will get a double release of both Char' s and the standard Z'Gok similar to last years Zephyrantes and Full Burnern release!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I can't see how this will work as a RG. The detail will surely be super but it they incorporate spliting armor gimmick it would ruin the aquatic MS.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. What you say actually makes sense. Sadly, it appears Bandai ignored such logic...

      Delete
  12. Probably the normal Z'Gok's RG would be released too, just like how Zaku II RG was released, after Char's Zaku

    ReplyDelete
  13. There is a god.

Now if only they could make a RG Hyaku Shiki and Guncannon, I could die happy.

    ReplyDelete
  14. OMFG, its long time due, wonder if this will have movable monoeye.
I held back on my Z'gok purchase for so long time, and now its time to party.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Replies
    1. I have to disagree. I am so sick of them always giving the attention to Gundams. It's time for some mono-eye loving.

      Delete
    2. We need grunts as really the RG line has only had the Zaku II and this is not really a grunt suit as it is Char's personal suit.

      Delete
    3. Man grunt suits are more often than not far more popular than the titular gundams. Besides, it's hard for someone to build a diorama of a fight using a gundam if the grunts it fought on the show don't exist.

      Delete
  16. Not really a fan of this MS but any MS announced in RG line makes me really excited. Now I just can't wait for the next RG after Z'Gok!

    ReplyDelete
  17. The Z'Gok will be an interesting build, but I will more than likely pass on it if it isn't Char's.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I can smell gundam origin next year =.=

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Is that what that is? I thought it was the smell of dead hopes and dreams :/

Jokes aside, I hope you are right.

      Delete
  19. No chance Char's Z'Gok or the standard version will be release as exclusives, stop trolling.

I was really hoping for the GP03s, but I figured that would take until 2015 or 2016. This Z'Gok will be epic

    ReplyDelete
  20. I dunno about you guys, but seeing an RG Kampfer would be interesting.

I'm personally want to see an RG Nu Gundam, though.Hell, even an RG Astray(the BLUE one). Let a guy dream. XD

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Dude, I have the same exact RG wishlist as you man. Let's dream together.. hahaha

      Delete
    2. They need an rg nu gundam! Who wouldnt buy 1? !?

      Delete
  21. Well, I hope RG Infinite Justice, RG Wing Zero EW And RG Deatscythe Hell EW
Maybe infinite justice Will be No 19th/18th RG because like Rg JUSTICE has been Number 9th
But i really hope infinite justice after Z'gok (I like infinite justice but Z'gok is still cool)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree with the RG I. Justice, but with the other two I disagree,I mean, those wings are ugly,in both of them. One looks like an angel and the other lools more a Bat than a God of Death.

      Delete
    2. hahaha, u right dude

      Delete
  22. Quite a surprise hope it has better build to it

    ReplyDelete
  23. Char's Z' Gok is really popular and finally it's the first weird looking MS in the RG line.

I always like it and I expect the following:

    1. HG Z'Gok's arms and legs (those tube-like limbs) are all bendable (but articulation is still limited though you can stillpose it as the legendary "stab the GM!") I hope RG's inner frame is stronger and better articulations.

    2. Z-gok head missiles.... well better if those missiles are all detachable hehehe...

    3. Cockpit hatch is a tradition to RG's so you know what I mean =)

    4. RG GM must follow (or RG-lized your HG GM)

and once you bought this kit. Let's sing "Ai Senshi" (>_<)

    ReplyDelete
  24. How come Bandai isn't doing more 00 RG kits next? They already confirmed the next one is Exia with the Repair 1 as an exclusive add on set. So why wouldn't they move to like Trans Am Exia, 00 Raiser and all the other 00 Gundam suits and variations and Trans Am stuff?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Uchiha Minato

Real Grade doesn't release kits from the same series back to back. They only release 3 kits a year and jumps between different gundam universes to keep everyone happy. It'll take at least another year for them to release the RG 00 Gundam.

Aside from the 00 Gundam and Exia, and their variations, you won't see any other 00 suits in real grade for a long time. So don't get your hopes up,

      Delete
    2. Uchiha Minato = Obviously, a Naruto name, and with your message like that, it's you, Suiton!

      Delete
    3. What kind of logic is that? Seriously, people on these days are retarded.

      Delete
    4. Suiton likes Naruto, so obviously, he will create and hide under an account that's composed of names from that anime.

      Delete
  25. Sorry non UC fans, I know it's hard to accept designs like this when you want newer suits to get RG

But this Z'Gok is going to be one of the best, maybe even the best. The Real Grade feel is back

    ReplyDelete
  26. Old suits will most certainly look better with the RG re-design, with the art style shifting dramatically to suit our modernize tastes.

Newer suits (like exia) won't have much changes, since its basic design is already quite up-to-date.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Pretty much this, 00 doesnt change so much in term of design. We need old suit redesign as RG. I hope Gouf and Gelgoog for next monoeye

      Delete
  27. What interest me here is the inner frame for this kit. Would love to see how Bandai design the frame for this. not to mention the mechanism of the frame as well.

So with this release, does this break the "curse" of 3 release for each series?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yay, they made it look Not-goofy! Of course, the Zeon designs were always the best in MSG. I really wish someone would have the balls to tweak the RX-78 more so the torso isn`t essentially a box with legs that in no way could move except if the Gundam was a rubber suit worn by a person, because that's the feel I get from a good percentage of the suits in MSG. Just that, Suits, like monsters in a sentai series, not actual robots with proper joints.

    ReplyDelete
  29. gouf custom cmon!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Love Gouf Custom. But have you seen the line art for the real grade Gouf? It looks just as good if not better than the Gouf Custom. I feel like it would kill two birds with one stone when it is released. The whole point of Gouf Custom seems to be updating the Gouf and making it look more realistic at the same time, which is exactly what real grade is aiming for as well.

(I say that, but then when the RG Ground Gundam is released, I would start to think RG Gouf Custom would come eventually).

Now, a new Master Grade Gouf Custom? Yeah, take all my money

      Delete
  30. I was hoping that we would get the Aegis, Saviour, the 3 Impulse suits, and Infinite Justice... But why switch back to UC when the upcoming RG is the Exia? Very weird that they would jump around like that so quick.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's the way they've been doing it with the RG line. Switching back and forth between UC and AU mobile suits.

      Delete
    2. Bandai makes weird decisions when it's gundam related
      It's a fact

      Delete
  31. I would love to see a MS-09R Rick Dom RG or MG (the last version was well over 15 years old; and Bandai has upgraded Char's/Zaku II, Char's/Gelgoog, Gouf, and RGM-79 GM with version 2.0 already).

    ReplyDelete
  32. Bandai...!!! please, i want unicorn

    ReplyDelete
  33. I was thinking that we would get RG 00 Raiser next since the Exia is the next to come, or maybe more Seed/Destiny RGs like Aegis, Infinite Justice, Savior, the Impulse suits... But I guess back to UC again. So why Z'Gok and not like Ground Gundam or EZ-8? There are a lot of UC stuff that needs RGs or at least 2.0 MGs....ZZ Gundam? Ground Gundam? EZ-8? Perfect Gundam?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They might make another SEED/Destiny RG, but its low chance we see a Aegis, which I think it just needs a HG make over only. Same with Saviour Gundam. Bandai does have a UC lineup for its RG.

  34. cry , CRY MOAR , those who cant understand the beauty of Zeon Amphibious Mobile Suit , welp SEED try to bring back those feels , but much of ZAFT amphibious MS looks ugly

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah I like Zeon's aphi units too (those beautiful capsule-shaped units)

For ZAFT... the only amphi unit I like is GOOhN. It looks cute to me... however it does not have melee weapons (steel nails from Zeon's are soo cool)

      Delete
    2. And that is your opinion.

      Delete
  35. I don't remember ever seeing a prototype that looks this good

    ReplyDelete
  36. the prototype looks cool. can't wait to see one in full color. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Easy pass for me. Sorry I'm a Federation Hooligans.

    ReplyDelete
  38. YES! The HGUC Z'gok REALLY needed an update. Hate those plastic-on-plastic joints!

    ReplyDelete
  39. 4-CLAWED OPTION! YESSS!

    ReplyDelete
  40. O.o all looks great...but that inner frames...look soo fragile...xD

    ReplyDelete
  41. YAY!!!!! THREE TONE COLOR IS BACK!!!!! finally this looks like a real grade unlike the past real grades we have been getting with the 2 tone colors only!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Four finger steel nails? that's new

    ReplyDelete
  43. The box art kills me ... must .. not .. bu ... arrgh ... TAKES MY MONEY !!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. anyone know what the next rg will be? please not the build strike.......

    ReplyDelete
