  2. Seriously are all Japanese developers just completely ignoring PS4? It's coming out in late 2014 so it's not like Full Boost for PS3 where it was already in develpment before PS4 was released... They could easily make a PS4 version of this game for seeing as though it's releasing next month in Japan.... C'mon Bandai I got a PS4 primarily so I could play gundam games and it seems like they're just ignoring the next gen consoles

    1. PS4 with that kind of graphics? Gundam Breaker on PS Vita looks way better.

    2. Japan typically will follow sales. They'll move to PS4 when they outnumber PS3s. The only game I know of coming on PS4 from Japan is the new Ryuu no Gotoku (Ishin), next month...it's coming out on both. Remember the PS2? The Japanese released games for that for years after the rest of the world stopped...why? There were still a lot of PS2s in Japan. In the end, the decision maker on this is the public. If PS4 game releases are not strong yet, it's because PS4 sales are not strong yet...and don't forget that developers already have their PS3 game making mojo down pat where as they need to develop new PS4 mojo so releases will be a while. In the end who cares, we all own PS3's still anyway.

    3. @anon 2:21 well if that's the case then seeing as though Sony systems are the majority in Japan then it's just a matter of time before announcements for PS4 titles start showing up... I'd say give it about 6 months and then we'll most likely start seeing new games announced

      Delete
    4. They already announced a gundam game for the PS4 last year.

  6. Honestly guys calm down. If you have a PS4 there are Gundam games coming however PS3 has a large user base. It would be a bad move to ignore PS3 owners and potential sales.
If you are a true Gundam otaku you will import the Japan version unless a US version is announced and remember that U.S. game review sites are obsessed with military Call of dooky shooters.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Isn't that the truth. It's because of that obsession that we will never see a Gundam game in the US because reviewers bash the hell out of anything that is not Call of dooky. Honestly they are all a bunch of mindless fools.

      Delete
    2. well, just wait for maxi boost, I'm sure it will be on ps4 because full boost on ps3 is freaking lag unless you play alone

      Delete
  7. Uh....The Pixie is not a new original mobile suit. The Gundam Pixie design goes as far back as a mid 90's video game. Please try again

  8. i have given up on gundam games for the us i rather import then its better that way because us aint made a good gundam game since fed vs zeon and gundam vs zeta gundam ah those where the days

  13. Pale Rider = G04/G05 with GM head.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. pale rider is a mix of multiple units, its arms and shouldeds belong to unit 4 and 5, while its legs are modified Mudrock legs. HADES system seems to be EXAM of sorts and for space it uses unit 5s gatling gun and propellent tanks. the head seems to be a mix of gm sniper 2, with r-line from senki and gundam in the mix.

      Delete
    2. Yes, conclusion that Pale Rider is G04/G05 with GM head is come up because first pict of this suit which not very clear. After the PV comes out, it's clear if Pale Rider is mixed MS from other MS.

    2. Dude your not very bring. Seabook already posted it's name. The name is in GG's post can't you read?
Anyways am I find it odd that bandai is making a mold for the RX 80 Pale Rider which it's design is based off of the g04/05 yet bandai never made a 1/144 scale Kit of either of those suits.

    3. I meant the one featured in that federation suit archive. Just look at the feet, i dont think it's a GM

    4. That's probably Pale Rider too, with different feet and backpack.

  15. ooo I wonder how easy this game would be to play for a non-Japanese reader. Battlefield Record UC0081 was pretty easy to understand. If this is similar, then I cant resist :)

apparently the game will have HD remakes of all the previous side story games (http://www.siliconera.com/2014/02/18/mobile-suit-gundam-side-story-missing-link-hd-remakes-gundam-spinoff-games/)? I can die a happy man <3

    ReplyDelete
  16. So the RX-80 Pale Riders are confirmed for HGUC release?

I wonder why the title on the box says "SIDE STORIES" and not 'MISSING LINK"? The archive booklet seems to got some NEW MSs we haven't seen before, more new MSs in the game soon?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because from what I heard this game will added story from sidestory game such Blue Destiny; Rise From The Ashes; Cross Dimension 0079; Space, to The End of a Flash; Zeonic Front; and Lost War Chronicle aside main story of Missing Link.

  17. I would love to get the Limited Edition but at triple the price of the standard release on PlayAsia, I think I'll have to settle for the standalone game. Can't wait!

  18. Any chance to see this game in America in English or it will be just a dream?

    ReplyDelete
  22. a remake of Rise from the ashes? Seriously? I'm literally being forced to import this game!

    ReplyDelete
  23. so i have some new pics for this from fumatsu it shows a mission mode called vr mode its basically exactly like the free mode from Mobile suit gundam battlefield record 0081 http://www.famitsu.com/images/000/050/137/532927989cd9d.html and apparently theres ms from 0093 and 0088 cause theres a jegan,gm 3 and gaza d in there

    ReplyDelete
  24. I thought, as a child, that Zeonic Front was one of the best gundam games. I am thinking about geting a ps3, and this pushed me over the limit! Time to buy!

    ReplyDelete
  25. For anyone who doesn't want to buy the special edition to get the kit it's a metallic ver so there's at least some chance a normal version will be released.

    ReplyDelete
  26. OMG!!!! ZEONIC FRONT IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!
Literally my FAVORITE Gundam game ever!!!!!
    This is so freaking happening!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If Zeonic Front is your favorite game, then you can clearly see that this is obviously Zeonic Front in name only, and not a true remake. The trailer shows that the gameplay and story appear to be very different from the old PS2 game (The overly athletic dodging maneuvers, apparently straightforward action oriented gameplay like we saw in the other two Side Story trailers as opposed to PS2 Zeonic Front's heavy reliance on strategy, Matt Austin using a Zaku II instead of any of his beloved Zaku Is which he used exclusively in the game, the Magella Top Cannon weapon, in-field weapon swapping, Scmitzer taking on Mudrock in his custom Zaku I when neither of them were ever available in the main story mode, and you never fought Mudrock in a well lit environment unless you were playing on New Game +) I wouldn't know about RFTA though, since I've never had a Dreamcast. Still, despite all that, this looks like a pretty sweet game, and I totally intend to check it out.

    2. zeonic front you just brought a tear to my eye if it won't gundam, armored core or dbz i ain't interested that's all i played in my ps2 days

  29. Ah ha! That explains why the efreet is that pink and purple color scheme instead of blue. They are going too tie this game into unicorn episode 4.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well from what I think Slave Wraith self is a bunch of EFF wanted list, war criminals or deserter. Their purpose is much like soldier which waiting to be executed and battlefield is suited place for their execution. In other words, they don't have tie anymore with EFF and Pale Rider finally make them side with Zeon.

  34. i cried at 7:46 because i didnt know they were the zeon remnants in unicorn series and they all died huehuehuehue i will buy the game

    ReplyDelete
  36. the new suit that resembles pale rider is called AMX-018[HADES]"Todesritter". Its a pale rider stolen and modified by zeon

    ReplyDelete
  37. Did the release date get pushed back?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Does anybody know if this is going to be released on JP PSN? I figure it probably will considering the last few Gundam games have been but I didn't know if anybody had confirmation. Also for Ronin0510 it is released in Japan as of today because there is already footage cropping up on youtube of gameplay

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmm, all my hype for this game just drained away with the addition of the Unicorn. I know the main story has some kind of cross era thing going on, but being as OWY is the only Gundam era I care about any more I'm not big on seeing that nonsense anywhere near a game like this.

    1. Calm down sir, that's just a dlc. as long as you don't pay and download it, it's not exist on this game.

  40. So I got the game while over here and.... Its okay. Its played very simple and I cant help but feel that the designers in some aspects got lazy with the game. I don't feel there's that much tactics you can imploy in this game and the customization isnt all that strong, not at least with what I noticed. I honestly feels like Gundam Crossfire, cept you get special combo attacks and you can make your mobile suit roll (which actually is pretty kickass). Theres a nice selection of MS to drive and cool weapons, but I fell that this game is kind of subpar. It wouldn't be a very good game to try to reintroduce to the US.

    1. I'm a little disappointed with this game...

I was too much hyped with this, like i was with watch dogs... Hahahah

Well, about gundam side stories, the controls are too much arcade, too much... Lock on, like some people said is really bad, no anime cutscenes and, the main problem - to me - the graphics and the environments. I thought that this game would be at least like Senki 0081, but no, the graphics are worst, not polished, bad textures, that jungle when Pale Rider appesars... WTF?!

The water and the other vehicles, looks like a PS2 game... We cant destroy buildings (like we could in original LWC), there's no change weapons option - i dont like the charge thing from Senki, but can use another weapons was good.

Talking about graphics, i replayed the Infamous Crossfire... Man, that graphics, that destruction, that environments was amazing! The game born with lag, but everything is good there, the MS details, the scenario details, textures, constructions, vehicles (not only the MSs) details, the effects when a ms explodes under water. If they, Bandai, could make a game with that graphics in 2006, why not an optimization on the graphics engine to run with no lag on PS3, now?

Seriously, if you, people, have Crossfire, just look that graphics... And the MS local destruction...

I really, really hope that the next gundam game for ps4 be made by another crew, studio... Not this one from side stories...

      Delete
  41. That RGM-86.....Was that a GM III?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm about 18 missions into the game and I realized. This game cost next to nothing to make. It uses the same 3d MS models and game engine as the Online "Gundam Battle Operation". And in the end, that's all it is, a single player, no lag/waiting for players version of Battle Operation. It's great to have remixes of all the older games. But it would have been nice to turn up hte detail/graphic quality since this is single player.

  43. New dlc is up and downloadable (Kamfer, alex, vr mission 106 btw)
