  1. I was going to do this with the Strike Rouge Ootori I got anyways. Cool, but of little interest to me.

  2. Why am I not surprised. >_>

I might end up getting this though to complete my Seed MG collection.
Maybe it'll convince Bandai to do Justice and Freedom RM Ver?

  3. how can seed be so popular that they will make a mastergrade for a suit variant that was on screen for no more than 10 minutes? granted its a color swap and an online hobby exclusive but it still takes some effort on bandai's part.

    1. Put it this way.

      a. it is profitable since Seed hardcore fans will buy it
      b. the cost and time it would require is minimal at a premium price
      c. bandai also is putting out mg exia repair 2 which was on screen for less than 2 minutes LOL and we even got a mg 00 gundam 0 sword g as a regular release even though it's part of the 00V (variations) manga series

In other words. Bandai is just so random sometimes that it boggles my mind. Although this release is a bit annoying in a way, I'm likely to end up buying it hoping that it'll entice them to finally give us MG Freedom RM and MG Justice (regular) and more Seed Destiny kits (and RM Ver ones).

Though right now, MG Exia Repair 3 would be awesome.

    2. Phase Shift Armor = Money to be made

Also, same can be said about Exia R2.

    3. Suiton, your mind is boggled by ppl who don't shave every day... But I can already see bandai going "GUISE, ZOMG, we sold a kit to this random annoying nobody in america through a store that actually bought it from us and resold it so we have no idea where it actually went and it doesnt matter cuz america isnt really our target market!!!! SUCCESS!!! START MAKING THOSE OTHER MGS!!!!"

  4. If it doesn't come with the enormous booster, I'm not interested....

Honestly though, I'm a little surprised they're bringing out as an online exclusive a kit which is literally just a combination of two existing ones i.e. regular strike + strike rouge shield + ootori pack. I bet they're going to add something extra to it in order to drive sales. Could it be the enormous booster? If so, I might have to buy it, but surely it'd be bigger than the Dendrobium?

    1. I wouldn't exactly say its unsurprising as the Ootori pack did gain quite abit of interest. Combine that with the original Strike would make sense as the Strike is more popular than the Rouge and some people would see fit to buy the combination instead of two separate kits (not everyone paints so yeh).

Question now is what will their price point be? If its too high then that'll be called unreasonable.

  5. Just put a ootori backpack on a strike rm? Why is it so special to be an online exclusive gundam?

    1. It will probably have the booster maybe that's why.

    2. It's a 1/100 scale kit so no way in hell is that going to happen. The sheer size of the thing will cost a fortune for something so obscure.

    3. Because it's not special enough to actually get a new boxart and menu and place in a store? Seriously whats wrong with you people? That's what online exclusive should be, just recolor of kits for people who are too lazy to paint.

    4. Ootori on Strike RM meaning 2 MGs... i'll just get the MG Rouge Ootori & precut decals from Samueldecals. repaint and it's DONE ! way cheaper !

  6. Bandai, you guys do realise that there's a whole lot more to Gundam than just SEED. right? Go make MG's of the others you mother@#$%^&*, not releas a repaint and recolour of the same thing over and over again!!

    1. The more you whine the more SEED stuff gets released..

    2. While you have a point about there being other series to make kits out of, the fact of the matter is SEED is still incredibly popular in Japan. Bandai in no way makes any attempt to market or sell anything Gundam outside of Japan. All the foreign fans are is a periphery demographic that Bandai just has to soak up the profits from without any extra work on their part.

    3. SEED Prints money so why fix something if it ain't broke! But seriously its a business so thats why they do it.

    4. It's a @#$%^&*ing recolour so they can make it easily before they make something else, and it's a @#$%^&*ing online exclusive so you can skip it easily and go buy the ones that are in stores.

  9. Another kit out of way left field. The scene was pretty cool in the show but dang, Bandai. Not gonna lie I wasn't interested in the Ootori Pack until Kira actually made use of it. I'm not a fan of the Rouge and I could just sacrifice this Strike to ver.RM the Strike Noir....if it's a decent price, I'll buy.
