  1. The new op is awesome! So many cameos in this episode and ramba rals age is just pure win. Calling it now, Exia Dark Matter will be powered by a plavsky drive for unlimited particle unlike Star. I can't believe I'm hoping for mondays now, this serirs is so addicting!

    1. So I thought we could see it goes Trans-Am and catch up with the Strike a little bit...
Allelujah and Soma's daughter is still nice though.

  4. So many cameo of pilot and MS this episode~
    Zanspine colored V2 looks cool.

Just asking, in the opening, those PPSE siluet gunpla, somebody can identify them all?
    The first three:
    -Beginning Gundam
    -Zeong custom
-??? (what tank MS is that?)
    The second four:
    -Master Gundam
    -F91
    -RX-78 Thunderbolt?
    -Miss Sazabi?
    The last one:
of course, Exia Dark Matter. :D
From that glimpse, only head and torso got modified, shoulder look the same.

    1. Oh~ Now you mention it, it's indeed Command Gundam.
Why I didn't realize that SD proportion even though I see the eyes... >.>

    2. Your last two predictions were really close. Well actually your last one is correct it is the miss sazabi from the line art released awhile back as for the ms before that one I believe it to be a perfect gundam? or some FA variant. :)

  5. Well, that was exciting, and now we know who's gonna win next week but it'd still be fun to watch how it happens.

  6. Is it just me or does the 3v3 match recap say "Star build strike" while Iori and reiji piloted the Build MkII ?

  7. Lolz. the Female Heero cameo. guess Sunrise just flat out admitting 'Yeah, we know. Wing's full of a bunch of girly bishonen boys.'. hilarious.

  8. Zanspine colored V2 for the win! Man the rule abuse is amazing. Also is the BuCUE Tank an actual variation or a custom model?

  9. This episode is better than the last one but the race seem to be less excited than I expected as I expected it will be like what Kirara had mentioned about Gunpla fighters using weapons (including hidden weapns), strategies etc.

    1. Yeah, and I wanted to see what Mao did to win but there's no clue to what he did with the fighter thing.

    2. Fighter thing!? You deserve a G-Falcon punch in the face...

    3. Haha, sorry, I just found out I couldn't recognize the front section on its own.
The section that docks with the Gs is more familiar too me.

  11. All the crazy creations in this I fully expect the next series MSV to be fully animated. Animation nightmare, hogwash!!!!

Not only that but I still want an animated Crossover!

  12. Ral was pure win in this episode! I hope he has an epic gunpla battle with C sometime in the future.

  13. you're a dead man Mashita, you're a dead man.

  14. Actually it's being bothering me, so i did a little math..but I can't get how Reiji and Sei can drop to 17th from not getting the 4 points.

Since there are 12 with max points and 7 with only 4 points away.
There are only 9 winners in this round and 6 of them are confirmed to be the ones with max points so far.
If I take it that the other 3 winners are fighters that were 4 points away, then only 3 have caught up to the same score as Reiji.

Thus the worst that they could drop to is only 15th place...isn't it?

  15. I have this hypothesis that Mashita is actually an intelligent person and possibly a good fighter (possibly using the Exia Dark Matter). He probably discovered Arian in a freak accident during some experiment (by him or people he employed) and he exploited the Plavsky Particles he discovered through PPSE. He's just goofy all the time because he's drunk (he's always shown with wine!!!).

That, or he really is just an opportunistic idiot who got a lucky strike.

  16. Am I the only person that would like to see these competitions in full? I'd like to have seen more 3v3, more actual races and much more of the first round of 4 player battles. There are also too many one-shot kills for my liking, making the battles too brief.

    1. One-shot kills are normal, in real life you got shot you die. What I don't like is how main characters got hit at critical points but nothing happens, also how all the other fighters who are supposed to be the best in their countries fight like noobs.

  17. Aila before picked up looks like a street thief :P
Hard knock orphaned child on the street.

Enhancement technology? Not the Kamen Nemesis suit, right?
Its Gunpla designing & building, right?

New OP to mark the next 13 episodes.
So its semi-final battle - Sei & Reiji vs Aila?
Then final battle - Sei & Reiji vs Kawaguchi?

    Then the chairman and secretary?
3 small boss, 4 sub boss then the boss man?
By now everyone had already named the silhouettes so its no fun to do it already :P

Hmm, I want to know the motive of the PPSE chairman.

    Ok, back to the anime.
Looks like its become somewhat a Gunpla Olympics.
Right..it IS a Gunpla Olympics..theres the Olympics vilage and facilities etc.
Now we have the shooting event.
Ok, now its become a school sports festival.
Let's see them put these mini games in Gundam Breaker 2 or something.
    Zanspine colored V2?
    Blond Heero!?

Ok, the Kamen Nemesis suit seems to have some cool tech.
Wonder if the tech is Plavsky related.
Man, the Gunpla Battle is really rule-less, and its not the first tournament!

    16 in the finals?
So 8 of it will be those silhouettes I suppose.
And the fighter can change their Gunpla too.
Perhaps the chairman can buy some of the fighters in and give them better Gunpla.

Will Sei and Reiji defeat the chairman's 8 before the finals fights with Aila and Kawaguchi.
    Or vice versa?

Looks like the chairman is useless, the secretary is the one :P

Ok, I admit. Aila is the Four of this Gundam series.
Wonder whats so painful? The conditioning to become Kamen Nemesis?

WTF! Eliminated fighters can still come disturb!? No rules!

So this Hell Zeong is one of the silhouette 8?
Then they will just be disturbers of the week?
Or just Hell Zeong, Beginning and Command?

The RG system just made it look like Extreme Gundam.
Wonder what the characters from EXA will do if they dive into this Gundam world?

    Ehhh!!?
But I don't think Reiji will recognize the chairman..or will he?

Next week the start of the finals?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'll say my thoughts very throughly for your question/impression below, be prepared. :P

Aila in early days and those clothes she wear in the bed look better than her usual one. :3

Kamen Nemesis? Well just suit that improve reflexes or something, but put some stress when wear it.

As for semifinal and final match, can't argue more. Not sure whether Sei-Reiji will win again Yuuki- I mean, Meijin though.

Chairman just want to get rid Reiji as soon as possible because he is wanted man in Arian?
The secretary probably want to get the top of PPSE and then rule the world. :D

And yes, 16 for finals, and those silhoutte maybe indeed PPSE gunpla given to certain fighter or just certain guy disturbing battle (again).

I'm not sure Sei-Reiji will fight all of the 8 silhoutte gunpla though, maybe some of them barging at the battle between them and other main characters.

Uhh, what do you mean eliminated fighter can still come disturb? Chommer from Germany? Well, I think all of participants are go through all 8 periods, and just 16 with most points go for finals.
Or maybe I misunderstand your points?

I believe Hell Zeong Marine is not one of the silhoutte. It differ in antenna, hand, and leg.
As for others, didn't know yet.

If you watch closely, every time Star Build Strike uses RG system, it show inner frame which (I think) closely resemble Real Grade frame. Well, it's RG system after all. :P

I'm not sure Reiji will recognize the chairman either...

No, next week is last qualifying match, where Star Build Strike goes battle-to-death with Wing Fenice, which I think will make Ricardo outside best 16...
I mean, in the opening, he is outside looking at tournament venue and at where song enter the reff, no Wing Fenice at all...

    1. Nice! Thanks for replying :)
      I'll reply back.

Do you have any info on the Kamen Nemesis suit? Or is it just your guess?
Was wondering if it uses Plavsky tech too.

The chairman, so mysterious and so useless :P

I was thinking maybe the first 3 silhouettes can be disturbers.
Then when they fail, the chairman will change the events and bring in the next "4 heavenly gods".
Theres also the defeated hopefuls like Gawain and Kaiser.
Then the Exia Dark Matter...could it go to Kawaguchi?
Or maybe an AI pilot made up of all the Kawaguchi data?
      Ok, thinking too much. Stop.

      Yup I'm referring to Chommer.
Ok never thought about that :P
      You should be correct.

      Maybe Hell Zeong Mk2?
      Ya, they look different.

For the RG system, its just a comment I don't mean anything.
Just reminds me of Extreme Gundam and therefore EXA.

      Ok, qualifying match.
I lack these tournament lingo :P
Wonder will there be any disturbance or the chairman will bet on Ricardo.

    2. And I'll reply again. XD

That suit certainly put stress or some sort, because at the end of episode 13, just before Aila saw Reiji, she saying that 'my head hurts', 'I need to get out of this'.

Well, the silhouette gunplas certainly disturbers, with Exia Dark as 'top rank'.
My guess will be fight between Sei-Reiji and Aila. Maybe Aila 'get snapped' and work with them to get rid of disturbers? If happen in the final against Kawaguchi, he certainly help and finally can fight fair with Sei-Reiji.

Just another customized Zeong by PPSE...

Hmm, from the preview doesn't feel that way, but not sure about it.

    3. We can only guess and speculate now.
Hopefully they will reveal everything in due time.

Or they may leave all the technology stuff (Plavsky, the suit) unexplained?
And just settle the human relationship part (Sei-Reiji and Yuuki, Aila and Reiji, Kousaka and Sei)?

Will we see Sei's father come back?
As mystery fighter for Exia Dark Matter?
Or will he be involved in spinning the plot for a season 2?

I suppose the OP covers the 'plot' for the next 13 epiosdes.
16 for the finals and after next episode it will be 15.
Perhaps end February there will be an announcement of the final(?) form for Build Strike?
Then end some time in March?

      Will we see Arian?

I can just think away but in the end I will need to wait to see the end :P

      Delete
    4. Well, mysteries will be solved one by one, and I believe some technologies will be explained, especially Plavsky Particle (which I guess had anything to do with Arian, hey, you wouldn't believe that man become chairman for no reason, no?)
Human relationship also on the way.

Sei' father...he's really not appearing at all... (Maybe he gone to Arian?)
      Exia Dark' pilot...not sure.
But certainly he will play bigger plot much later.

Yep, OP cover the plot or at least give hint about it.
I believe next episode still qualifying period, 8th period, the last one.
I'm...not sure that there will be another form for Build Strike, at least not until the tournament is over.
(Don't think Sei have time to scratch another one)

Probably we'll see Arian later on.
Just like the OP, the ED also give hint (maybe).
There, even though Sei is running along with Reiji, he's alone at the end where he look at the night sky.
(Maybe Reiji back there for a while, satisfied with finally beat Yuuki, I mean, Meijin Kawaguchi?)

Yeah, and while we wait for the end, I will enjoy it as much as I can. :D
