  1. The weathering and lining are pretty sloppy on this.

  2. I prefer gritty, highly detailed paint jobs like this to clean, bland paint jobs.

    1. not sure the gritty is intentional... those are some embarrassingly poorly done panel lines. not to mention the dry brushing...

  3. It's easy too talk shit about others work when you can even prove that you can do better. Ed does need too clean up his panel wash but he also hand painted this entire kit.

    3. ok, so maybe I understand it. I get and abuse a sponsorship, then lose it. Then I complain about my life, people take pity on me and I get free kits (so far, fair enough since everyone wants to help their friends). then I build one of these kits, and I am super happy with the result (which is all that matters). I put it up on my youtube and blog, because I am proud of my work (hey, who isn't). THEN I get it on a blog that usually only features professional grade model kits (again, good for me, maybe I really am just that great of a guy). I take the criticism there well-enough (bigger audience means more people that don't know me or care about me, but I am an adult and i understand this), but its also ok since my friends have my back and attack anyone who doesn't give me a glowing review because my life sucks or something. Is that how not to be a douchebag?.

  4. Pan and reply Anon, you two are pricks. Ed pushed himself in uncomfortable waters during this build to push his skills to its outer reaches. Be more kind and constructive in your criticism douchebags.

  5. Pretty big talk for Anons. ;P You try hand painting a model, then come talk to me. I'm happy with my work and that's all I can ask for. I'm no Pro and this is the first real 'full' project' Iv'e done. Im a 19 year old hand painter. Not like the usual model master featured on the site. All I can say is that i hope to impress you in the future sometime. Cheers mates.
