    1. well, what do you expect? full plated parts even for the inner frame?

    2. I think the body inner frame should have same gold with wing frame

    3. In the right light the Aztec gold looks good

    4. if Bandai would have made the whole inner frame gold as the wings, the kit would have cost more for us (customers) to buy.

    5. It's not that they didn't make the inner frame gold, it's that they couldn't make it gold. The plastic that they use with the RG's can't take the gold process, it would degrade the plastic and make the frame pretty unstable.

I would complain if Bandai would promote the Strike Freedom in that sparkly gold if they could, just like the HG Amastumina, and then give you the shit gold when you get it. But they haven't even done that, because of the issues with the frame.

  2. Flat-ish gold aside, things look quite promising. Gotta love the fact that the rifles are more than just two pieces of plastic.

Still raging about that shield tho...

    1. unless you're satisfied with the usual colored transparent plastic like those supplied with the MGs, that's probably the best option. I don't think you can replicate that kind of gradient without airbrush.

if you want the usual clear blue shield, just grab a clear blue spray paint, which costs like $8 a can (Tamiya brand), and would last more than 10 kits if you only paint the shield...

  3. at least they had included 3 shades of gold like the PG and MG Full Burst has, the shiny one, the dark one, and the normal un-coated gold

  4. That aztec gold doesn't look half bad.

  5. It is just the perfect grade, only smaller. what a shame.
Now give us RG impulse so I can replicate the Sword crash of DOOM in my basement.

  6. Can gold print on all gold/yellow runners?

  7. Yo kira, I herd that you like swords, so I put a big fucking sword in your chest so you can die while I laugh.

  8. It will be a challenge to paint the frame as gold (specilly the extremely small joints).

The shield also needs to be painted as clear blue... but if you really wanna follow the anime version then lets accept the clear white.

  9. It's not that I hate Bandai and SF Gundam, but since they love to milk out of Gundam Seed / Destiny series, why they don't just spend their time doing the Blast Impulse instead. They don't have to make new molds for the plates. They can use the old ones from previous Impluse model kits, re-color some, and just add a few plates for the blast silhouette pack so we can complete the SEED lead gundams (if you consider it as a lead gundam atleast during the first episodes of the Destiny series though)

  11. if RG inner frame has the same coated gold as the wing, it will break the next time u move its joints.
