  1. Soon to be mine from GG Infinite along with the effect parts!
Though I'm liking the design, the beam rifles do look a little bit off in terms of proportions. Maybe it's just the angle the photo was taken or the lighting? The photo's quality isn't the best either.

I'm also excited at the prospects of a possible RM Ver. of this guy in Master Grade form.

    5. Goddamit, MG Strike Freedom is already good as it is, still match up with today's MG kits no matter how aged it is. If you're just referring to the blue sticker in the rifles, even today's MG requires painting or stickers like Nu ver ka's dirty gray shading, RX-78 3.0's core fighter, Age-1's black knees, Strike Rouge Ootori's yellow linings etc.

Suiton thinks that LBX-style anime is stupid, not to mention he judges a book only by it's cover

    7. @anon956 well, suiton would hate build fighters. It's a series about BUILDING gundams. It's against everything he stands for XD

People was like "This/that MG [Aile Strike] is already good as it is, it doesn't need any upgrades." But what happened? They gave us RM version so why not MG Strike Freedom?

The only reason why MG Aile Strike RM is released is to match up with the quality of recent releases of it's GATX brothers: Duel, Buster, Blitz and Aegis. Since Freedom or Strike Freedom belongs to a different MS family line called ZGMF, doesn't matter if the RM version will release or not(It can be explain that ZAFT is trying to produce Gundams based from GATX in a more conservative way LOL), also unlike the first MG Aile Strike, MG Strike Freedom already has the quality of today's MG kits(The legs are in pegs instead of ball joints, the hands has a tiny peg to support the rifles, etc.)

  2. The proportion of the RD ver looks better than the RG...

    1. RD proportions are exaggerated, look at AGE 1 for RG, it's too tall and skinny.

    2. Oops *RD I mean

      Delete
    3. RD was supposed to be exaggerated... it's the tamashi spirit... if that makes any sense... but that's just the way it is...

thus, RD proportions are absolutely awesome

  3. At least i don't go about screaming for an MG Justice and RM Freedom. GG has way too much vermin on his blog to handle -.-

  4. This will be the first of all RGs that i won't buy... bad proportion, poor gold plastic, same old frame, visibly got some weigth issues, and It looks a little meuuuff...

    1. It's not surprising the frame is the same or very very similar. That is a trend with RGs. The weight issues can be resolved with an Action Base, the 'gold' plastic can be improved with silver paint and clear yellow or just using a gold Gundam Marker.. But I have to agree that the proportions; especially on the beam rifles is a little annoying.

    2. I usualy paint my model with airbrush and weight issues sure can be fix with an action base, even some UHU glue would do the job. The problem is for a RG witch cost this more, I would like it to get something good out of the box, Then try to make it look event better, instead of trying to correct all its problems.

    Will not buy.

  6. Looking forward to get this kit, will be an interesting build, with possibility in painting the inner frame a nice gold. All in all an nice model kit

  7. is that gold or yellow?

    1. Its Inca Gold. But to casual user its pale-yellow

  8. It's true that the beam rilfles are a bit "chubby", I'm not sure why they had to design them that way. Its MG form, the fbm, is way better than this though its a little disappointing how Bandai didn't give us all the gold chrome parts for the exposed internal gold frames, at least.

Still, I'm also wondering why Bandai is focusing on kits that has been released already. Should they be focusing more on releasing models that haven't had the chance to get their MG Form?? Sorry, just being an MG fan here..

    1. If bandai uses stickers for it, people will complain. If they use all plastic and it becomes too heavy, people will still complain -.- Perhaps they're keeping the cost down to a minimum for real grades, they might leave the gold plating for some online exclusive :/

  9. it seems most part of it will fall at any moment -_-

  10. So they went with the fat rifles huh? TBH, the look a little out of place. That, and they look a little heavy

    ReplyDelete
  11. The fuck is that yelloish shit color ?

    ReplyDelete
  12. This proved that someone at bandai clearly hates SF rather than Destiny.
Shit looks ugly. Badly proportioned. Fragile as fuck!

  13. That gold looks UGLY. makes the whole kit look bad not to netion the white just seems off

    ReplyDelete
  14. Whoever assembled that is definitely just an amateur. He/She just make the kit much less appealing. I'm not belittling amateur builders but if they're gonna display a soon-to-be released model, they should have made it more appealing.

Or maybe I could be wrong, it may be just a bad camera that makes the kit unappealing.

  15. The PG, MG, and RG redesigns are a nice effort, but this is still the worst gundam design.

I'm not touching this kit with a 10 ft pole.

    1. the worst gundam desing? well im going to assume you really love desings from G Gundam, like the Mermaid Gundam, or the Zebra Gundam... hey maybe Windmills is more your style... who know's?

    2. I love G Gundam, that series never took itself seriously and I like that about it. Nether Gundam's a motherfucking boss.
I like the Freedom Gundam too, I think it has a nice silhouette. However, SF's just a lazy and unoriginal design compared to it. I mean, what's the need for a fucking gold frame? The stupid rifle combination just seems like an afterthought. The wings with their incorporated cannons got replaced with the blockest and most uninspiring bit weapons in existence. I feel like a 5 year old took the Freedom and made his own version of it. Plus, the original lineart just looks like shit.

  16. don't understand why people complain about colours that they don't like. No two gundams are the same when effort is used to customize, however small the customization may be. Shame on you lazy people.
