  2. Even though I probably won't be buying this, I still think it looks really impressive. But without the treble clef symbol on its front skirt, it looks a bit weird. I'm guessing they will dedicate that with an optional decal much like how the MG Nu Gundam Ver. Ka had the Amuro "A" thing as an optional decal instead of making it like a molded detail on the shield and whatnot. On the flip side, the clean look would be an interesting take on the design since these Ver. Ka are Katoki's reinterpretations of existing designs.

Maybe it's the lighting or low quality photo, but isn't this guy supposed to have some pinkish parts on it?

I've read this lines in a Nu Gundam Ver Ka video before in youtube.....
THAT'S RIGHT!!! IT'S YOU, SUITON!!!! You're hiding as anonymous again!!!

    3. Formerly Anon912 here,
Those quoted lines came from him, I'm only using them as an example.

    4. Little-known fact: It's not a musical note, but a stylized "CD" (Casval Deikun).

    5. Why would the emblem be cast into the kit? Personal emblems like that are decals, like...99% of the time.

    6. @Anon912 & 945, I was actually referring to Anon828, not you haha...

    7. Formerly Anon945 here, that's suiton, he wrote that comment while hiding days ago. He will probably not do it anymore since he reappeared and changed his pic.

    9. He's still commenting anonymously, though. Mainly when he wants to repeat the same crap he just said under his suiton name. He's THAT obsessive

  4. that's one big beast. char must be so proud XD

  5. it looks like a new moveable hand / finger mold for zeonic mobile suit..
looks bigger than nu ver.ka finger

  6. What does concern me is in the second pic, look like this beast's new PS Frame cant really hold the weight of its big, badass shield. I may have to prepare some paint and glue to tighten this monster's joints then.

Anyway...He looks freaking awesome. Is the manipulators new? It looks kinda big for a 2.0 Zaku

    1. Yeah, its can tell from the pose the kit seems have overweight issue. I hope the PS mechanic can hold that heavy backpack and shield

      Delete
    2. I would be shocked if it didn't have weight issues...

      Delete
    3. It would match the nu ver.ka's lack of ability to hold the funnels on its back then XD
But i digress, I am a lot more impressed with it now that I am seeing a "final" kit. The lower legs do still look a little bit thin, but thats only a minor issue, and its very nice to see that its head is a nice size unlike the old mg. Really I cant wait.

  7. Hope regular version also come with this rifle.....

  8. look at the size of that thing compared to the HG right next to it. Its friggen huge for a MG gundam. Must get.

  9. Bad ass motherfucka, anyway why the rifle is so long. Also the crotch seems too big

    1. It's in the Philippines, I wouldn't assume right away that folks there have that fancy of a camera or even have it on them at the time (as it wasn't known that this guy would be there.)

Like wise, photographing through glass is often a tricky thing as it distorts the light and thus the image. So even a good DSLR like the T5i or D5200 wouldn't get amazing detailed shots of the kit.

We should have some better photos of this coming up as NYCC is supposed to have the kit. So some better photographers will most likely get some personal time to take some nice shots at the Bluefin booth.

    2. Kinda funny 'cause the photographer is Malaysian. Check the photo credits above.

    3. how is it different if the photographer is philipines or malaysian?

    4. now all this sounds racist

    6. @Anon (4:25 PM),
Generally, those countries that have inflated prices on technology. Which includes P&S Cameras as well as DSLRs.
Like wise, folks generally have to work more to earn a decent living. Which means they have less of a chance to buy something as expensive as a DSLR without a pre-existing reason to do so.
Building Gunpla wouldn't be one unless they're a fairly wealthy individual.

    7. @anon 11:43PM. that was classless man. you could have just said that about the camera and be done with it, but no. you just had to go there, don't you? sheesh.

    1. Don't worry you still get the short rifle. That long rifle was used in early concept art, like the beam rifle that came with the Robot Damashii Nu Gundam Double Fin Funnel expansion. Kinda surprised that they didn't include it in the MG ver.ka.

    2. Oh I knew I'd still get his signature. I was just wondering about the mystery rifle. Thanks for the info man. :)

    3. Wait so you guys are saying the rifle is part of the package? I was planning to buy the Sinanju's Bazooka for this guy to beef up his arsenal. But more dakka is never a bad thing.

  12. The shoulder armor suggests that there may be some psychoframe gimmick like the Nu Ver.Ka..

  13. Guys I found this Sazabi art by tadeu-costa on deviantart, it was done in 2005 but look at the beam rifle!

    2. So... does that new rifle have a designation and/or name? Just out of curiosity.

      Delete
  14. Actually, If you look at the boarders of the armor on the skirt, the shoulders, the arm verniers, etc., there seems to be clear plastic over an area that looks like where the psycho-frames are visible. I could be wrong, but then I'm not sure of why Katoki would include this in his design. If so, then the psycho-frames seem to be even more visible in some areas than the Nu Gundam Ka. Version.

  25. This beast just keeps looking better and better! The panel lines galore, the revealed inner frame details through the red armour, the colour separation, ahhh! It's fantastic. The other photos posted on here in the past week showing the details on the lower legs, wow! The inner frame of the moving vernier recess had great detail, the bottom edge of the foot had inner frame peeking through, and what made me most happy was the back inside of it's heel armour. There was inner frame parts that totally didn't have to be included in the kit, but they did it, hell yeah Bandai!

I can't wait to see how this one turns out.
