  5. Oh! It is about time for this guy to come in 1/144 scale. MG version did not do it for me with its joint design. This is a product that deserves to be released.

  7. Not exactly a fan of F91 but I like the direction of Bandai to release these kinda suits.

    1. no problem,
      Bandai even release the smallest HGUC Loto

  9. Wonder how they're going to pull off the MEPE mode?

  10. The proportion actually looks good.

    1. I have to disagree. It only looks good because of how absolutely terrible the ugly as sin MG release was. Neither release captured the sleek elegance of the original design.

    2. I agree that the MG one looks terrible in term of proportion.
      HGUC one doesn't look that good either but at least it's much easier to mod.

    3. Yes. Sleek elegance.

      Sleek indeed. The HGUC looks a tad better than the lineart, at least. Unlike the MG Geara Doga.

    4. Admittedly sleek elegance was not the best choice of words. My point was that the original design had a unique style. It is like the Turn A Gundam in that you either love it or hate it but you can't lump it in as easily with the RX-78 rip offs. The HGUC is afraid to embrace the flare elements of the lineart for what it is and ends up looking bland as a result.

      To be fair the ugliness of second image (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hEUsTirZU9Y/TU8c7LyFoUI/AAAAAAAAAtc/SIrBC8A031Q/s320/Gundam%2BF91%2Bcover.jpg) has nothing to do with the design of the F91. That drawing quality would be bad on ANY design.

    5. I don't see what's so bad on its proportion but what I specially like are the legs. I never had the MG version so I can't really compare the proportion.

  11. Merci bandai...,now I didn't have to buy the MG of this dudeXD

  12. FINALLY! A true 1/144 scale F91! I hope they release a Harrison Martin Custom! (If not, off to the paint store! :D)

    2. I'LL PAY FOR IT! I've done it before with the RD Harrison F91, HGUC White Dingo GM Sniper II, and HG AGE-2SP!

      If they make it, I'll buy it! :D

      I'm also hoping they'll do some more suits from F91... They could do a "two pack" with the RGM-109 Heavygun and F77 G-Cannon due to their near identical color schemes and interchangeable equipment. *swoons*

      A 1/144 Heavygun would be AWESOME! I've got nearly all of the 1/144 scale GM-type MS. (GM, GM II, GM III, GM Kai, GM Command(S), GM Cold Climate, GM Ground, GM Custom, GM Cannon (kitbash), GM Cannon II, GM (G) Sniper, GM Sniper Custom (old MSV model), GM Sniper II (and WD variant), Jegan, Stark Jegan, Jesta, ReZEL (Standard, Command, and Defensor-B), Nemo, Nemo (UC), the old 1/144 Javelin, GunEZ/Gunblastor from Victory. (Still need a Jamesgun...) ...did I miss any? ^_^;

    3. I am afraid they are only releasing, lead of the gundam series.

    4. @Error:
      I dunno- remember the trailer? There were a ton of ms that currently don't have models in it- off the top of my head were several Crossbone Vanguard suits from F91 (using the Wheel things from V) Rig Shokew, Gold Sumo and Egail from Turn A, Dijeh from Zeta, Gazu L and R from ZZ...

      I think its pretty likely that some of these will get released.

      At the very least, you can let me dream! ^_^

    5. You forgot Jegan ECOAS type and the Jesta Cannon.

      Delete
    6. Yeah I don't have those two. I'm kinda amazed you actually looked through all that. ^_^;

      Need to add the GM Quel to my list of things to buy as well. I probably oughta make a checklist. XD

    7. I guess the main reason I looked through all of that was envy. I'm a big feddie grunt fan, and I am extremely jealous of your collection. I'm not at a place where I can financially afford to buy a constant stream of kits, but when I am, I'm going strait to the gm's. Also, not sure if you can really count it, but the HGUC Loto's not in there either.

      Delete
    8. Well, I'm also a HUGE fan (could you tell? XD) I've been collecting them for years. One at a time for a VERY long time...

      Also, yes I have a Loto (since it was a twin set I gave the other to my brother) I didn't count it because it was more of a Guntank suit... but still awesome! I guess the Anksha might count since it was developed from both the Asshimar AND Jegan... but its moot since I have one already. ^_^;

      So! I made my list of missing models! Thank you http://dalong.net/ !
      V-Gundam RGM-119 Jamesgun
      HGUC GM Command (standard color)
      HGUC GM Quel
      HGUC GM Striker
      HGUC Jegan ECOAS
      HGUC Jesta Cannon

    9. Well, you may have to add one more on. The GM204F from Thunderbolt is coming out eventually.
      I am still in awe at your collection.

      Delete
    10. I'll add it when its announced and we get some prototype images. There are several models that are "on my list" but technically don't exist... (Windam from Destiny, and Genoace O-Custom... why u no come out?????)

      Delete
    11. Well, Thunderbolts kits were announced, and among them was a silhouette of the GM204F prototype. And I must say, the lack of Genoace O-Custom is quite aggravating.

  13. I am guessing Cross bone is development too!

    1. Crossbone series? Oh hell yeah! I'll uber excited if we can get X-1, Full Cloth and X-3.

  14. If this clicks, we'll never know. But knowing Bandai, the possibilties are endless. :)

  15. Actually, this user was waiting to be "surprise" by RG F91. But, well, anybody can dream, right? XD

    1. Well, when you have something called the "HG All Gundam Project", one would expect it to be composed primarily of hg's. But I do agree. A Real Grade F91 would be glorious.

  16. Looking at the face pics, I think the kit will come with 2 parts, one with the human looking face, and one with mask on to be true to the animation. MG has a mask that would rotate upwards, but I don't think 1/144 would come with this gimmick. I like this kit a lot, very sharp details. I rather get this HG release than the MG.

    1. Yeah, this kit is gonna be VERY small (I have several of the 1/144 V Gundam models) so a transforming head would be extremely difficult to pull off at this scale without ruining the structural integrity of the model. I'm betting it will just be a simple head swap like most "smaller" releases of the F91.
