    1. please don't tell me the color variations of the navy blue are only stickers.....

    2. Not just the navy blue, look above the blue stickers. . . the white variations also seem to be stickers. . .

    3. Gonna be disappointed if that is the case. Still an awesome kit though.

    4. Same here. I actually think I would like it more without the color variations and decals, it looks pretty busy sometimes.

It's still going to be an awesome kit

  3. On The O those stickers were used to cover up seams and they did so very well. The lack of Dry Transfers is intriguing and awesome, also more like RG.

    1. man i think those flat stickers serve as the color variations to give it an "RG feel".

    2. Those flat stickers ARE for the color variations if you look at their shapes carefully. What a disappointment, but oh well....

  4. I'm quite happy for the manipulator runner since it is not exclusive to this kit. this will be the future of 1/100 manipulators. good job there bandai.

    1. It will probably start off with most UC kits since other MGs have smaller manipulators.

    2. Too bandai has yet to implent that policy since thestein still has the inferior 2.0 hands based on the pics of it during the expo

  5. waterslide decal.. ? nice... luv it so muchh..

  6. a bit disappointed by the pale pink beam saber, would've preferred the more solid clear pink like the traditional but hey, it's not like I'm gonna use it often since his main weapons are awesome as fuck.

  7. Those chrome foil stickers intrigue me, will they be going at the joints and such similar to what the RG has? Although this only has chrome silver stickers unlike RG kits that comes with chrome copper and gold.
    Anyone have any idea?

    1. Probably goes under the psycho frame to make it more reflective. . .

    2. Then what in heaven the Led unit suposed to do? lighting up the head sensor only?

      Delete
    3. LED will light up the head cameras, and the eyes. then blacklight willl light up his psycoframes.

  8. Very excited about this kit. After seeing this, I think it's time to stop following news about it and wait until it arrives

  9. The proportions are awesome, though as expected of Katoki-fied kits, an otherwise sleek design is ruined by the ever-present decal vomit.

    1. How is it ruined when the decals are optional?

    2. ^ This.

I don't like the decals either so I'm not going to use most of them

    3. It's just a matter of personal taste, Some like it simple and clean and I like it bombarded with small detail decals as well as the large ones.

  10. So no effect parts for the funnels? Oh well. the rest of he kit looks frakking awesome.

    1. The effect parts will be separately sold along with his double fin funnel set.

  11. The innerframe is not ABS though... :(

    1. Well, that's one of the things that BanDai was bragging about on the expo, that it has no ABS so it probably is for the good

      Delete
    2. Isn't ABS is better?

      Delete
    3. I hate abs. Especially if your painting. The surface is too smooth and glossy. Have to put in the extra effort to sand it down.

      Delete
    4. And If you use Lacquer you MUST prime it or else the paint will cause the ABS to deteriorate.
Normal PS does not have such an issue.

      Delete
    5. Can anyone explain me the advantages and disadvantages of ABS and PS plastics. sorry.

      Delete
    6. I'm only snap fitting this no paint whatsoever so I'm not worrying about painting it. Though i wonder if the waterslide decals will stick to it almost permanently with no topcoat but only with mark setter.

      Delete
    7. PS (polystyrene) is the traditional, rigid model plastic and is easiest to paint. ABS (another kind of styrene) is much softer and "snapper-friendly", but does not take paint as well because of its properties.

      Delete
    8. Is it good or bad specially for a straight builder like me, with his innerframe with PS plastics?

      Delete
    9. There is nothing wrong with it. Bandai just chose to use the traditional polycap joint construction instead of ABS on ABS joints like the Sinanju. Personally, as a "snapper" or "straight builder", I prefer ABS parts because they are easier to cut/trim/etc.

  12. I don't think the stickers are for the different shades of white or navy. I you look at a completed model, all the pieces that are a darker shade of white are on the D plates. the foil stickers are most likely to be placed under the psycho frame pieces considering their shapes.

    1. what are those flat stickers for then?

  13. Wouldn't be nice to do a little GPB surgery mixing the old MG ver. with this new one, to see how it stand out? specially the knees articulation ( 100+ bend? ) & oh yes !!! 18 fin funnels ( plus the expansion pack ) to play with !!!

~ By some who have the Old one

  14. THe Nu's hyper beam saber needs more jagged effects like the HG, but that's just me

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Totally agree with you, His hyper beam saber is still the same with the old MG nu with just the pale pink, I think the HGUC beam saber is better.

  15. I'm kinda worried on the dark parts(not sure if it's dark blue or teal) because I thought I saw them with different shades..I hope those weren't just painted because it's a shame to have them in 1 shade again...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. as you can see, the different shades of color is only provided by those flat stickers as you can see above.
A bit disappointed. But that doesn't change the fact hat this kit is the embodiment of all the greatness in this world.
      I think I came...

    2. finally they released updated pics...and yes, different shades are still there, well, not all parts have that, but I'm satisfied of what I've seen

  16. Due to the popularity of "after market" modeling parts Bandai is scheduled to release photo etched detailing parts some time in 2014. Dope.
