  1. Alright. HGUC Ez8 comes with a beam rifle. Hopefully it also comes with the bazooka and missile launcher. That way if we also have a Ground Gundam, we get all the weapons. Kinda like the HGUC Unicorns, where the Destroy Mode only had the beam magnum, and the Unicorn Mode had the bazooka and beam saber blades.

  2. Awesome it comes with the parachute pack. I hope they include the storage backpack for the Hyper Bazooka.

  3. That beam rifle doesn't look like the one from the anime... Hopefully that's a only a placeholder for the prototype.

    1. Actually, it does. I can tell by trapezoidal sight and the carrying handle behind it. Only the Ground Gundams have those particular features.

  4. How can you tell? We can only see it from the top in this one shot, and from what I can see, it looks fine.

  5. I wonder what color they will end up using, regular white or off white like the ground type? I'm hoping the latter.

  6. The EZ8 is a weird cream/beige color, not grey-white like the regular ground type.

  7. OMG YES! I love my old HG Ez8 but I think this suit deserves better.

  8. I have the older HG Ez-8. From the looks of this new HGUC version I thing the older one might beat it. Simply because it had a full opening cockpit and a 1/144th scale figure of Shiro Amada.

  9. FINALLY !!! I HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR A HGUC EZ8
I prefer if it came with the weapon storage back pack instead though. looking forward to better pictures

  10. Ok UC fans its officially time to flip. Sunrise has gained/regained rights to Sentinel. Expect to see Sentinel series shortly after Unicorn wraps up.

    2. Time to clear out the shelf, MG Deepstriker is coming in for landing.

    3. Or it might be a license agreement, not sure. But it's starting to sound more and more legit. Or maybe it will come out after Gundam Origins.

  11. I was cautiously optimistic about this one. It seems designers have favoured an aesthetic with broader, flatter surfaces ever since the MG release eons ago. It's not a bad interpretation, don't get me wrong; I actually quite like it. However, it's kinda missing something. Or has too much of something? Too much mass? Kinda pillowy? Get back to me on this.

Certainly this HGUC version will prove to be a superior kit in an assessment of engineering, but I think the old HG has it beat in the looks department. I never thought I'd say it, and I don't know how, but the old HG has really got it going on. Super spot-on adaptation from the screen.

I'll definietly buy the HGUC, though. No question about that.
