    1. Flit grew a Grodek beard. In fact he seems to have modeled himself after Grodek (sunglasses and beard etc)

  3. Ha! Final battle is sure to feature a bad guy that will require the combined might of all three AGE Gundams piloted by three generations of Asuno men.

    1. I don't see an aged Asemu...maybe he's dead? Unoa Asuno is there though she seems too young to have given birth to the next Asuno generation.

    2. Or he is in vegative state like Kamille.

    3. Errr, does that mean he got raped while in a coma (by what seems to be 2 women)?

  7. Seeing Yunoa as an adult makes me wonder what Asemu looks like as father.

  12. Glad to see that Flit is still around and kicking and not a crumpled up former shadow of his old self

  15. They're probably refraining from releasing anything about Romary, Asemu and Zehearte because the big finale is coming soon.

  16. There IS a possibilty Kio's not Asemus son. Was it ever somewhere stated that he is? As I recall it was always said that Kio's Flits grandson, nothing else. If you look at Kios hair, it has more resemblance with Flits mothers hair that with Romarys - here I mean the exact hair color. Flits mother, like Kio, has dark-brown hair, Romary on the other hand has light-brown hair. I know... It's a small distinction, but what if it was planned that way to fool us all. And it wouldn't go against heredity.

If my asumption is right, it would also make a lot of sense from a writers artistic perspective as they want to make an three generations spanning epic. Asemus death would bring a lot of drama into the series and serve as a mind changer for Flit - for better or for worse. For better it would be, if Flit became a better and more protective grandfather than when he was a father. For worse it would be, if he became even more consumed with hatred. Either way, it would have an great emotional impact on the series.

I know the target audiance is a bit younger than it was with other gundam series', but considering what we already saw they have realy little distinction between the standard and younger audiance.

    What do you think.

    1. I'm sure they could pull it off! I don't think the target audience is kids, since it gets pretty dramatic every now and then. I mean, vengeance is quite an apparent theme in the show, and that's not something this generation's parents would want their kids to really know about, right?
It'd be a hell of a twist if Bandai pulls it. Maybe Asemu's death will get Flit to see that his children were suffering under pressure of succession. Since we haven't seen much of Yunoa, who knows?

    2. Well, if audience need more drama, I prefer Yurin was cloned and revived at final episode to face grandpa Flit. ^^

    3. As much as i would love to the scenario you wrote, you do know that Kio's last name is asuno right? For him to be the son of Yunoa he would have a different surname. just saying xP

    4. Well, Arisa's child has her surname and not the father's, so it could happen to Yunoa too, who knows?

    7. If Asemu dies that would just prove one thing, he failed as a Super Ace...
It would clearly say that X-rounders can beat anyone that's not an X-rounder. One big reason why Flit is still alive is because of what Grodek knew, Flit still has know the bigger picture behind everything in the big unveil. None of the main pilots die before or after the big unveil unless they're able to find a resolution for it, it's a general gundam law.

    8. Anon 03:54 are you fucking blind there, the text there shows Kio is Asemu's son.

    9. To Shaomu:

You do know it's part of the Kodomo Genki block on TBS, right? Still, a decent entry in the franchise that I'll keep on watching nonetheless.

Anyway, Here's what I think will happen:
Asemu will go into a vegetative state by the end of the Second Generation. This would be a perfect nod to Zeta Gundam and a fitting way to set the table for the Third Generation.

But wait, how will Kio come into the world? Simple: While Asemu is in a vegetative state, The Company/Illuminati man from episode 23 will grab Romary and use her to create Ace Pilots with Asemu's genes, not unlike the Les Enfants Terribles project in MGS.

  17. It says Kio is Asemu's son on the scan.

And he's resembles exactly like Romary too.

  18. Are they finally going to Earth? The Earth background is just behind...

  19. I have a feeling that the Ariisa/gunhale looking characters are actually Asemu's children too aside from Kio, since they also somehow resemble Asemu. Looks like Asem's a playah.

  23. what's up with Flits googles? And that hairstyle... Somebody smoked some serious pot while designing flit for the 3. generation...

  24. Just thinking... since this has got a 3d model of this, will this series ever be in Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Kio's 13 years old when his arc starts, which is 25 years from Asemu's. That means Asemu can't die yet OR his sperm/DNA is saved and Kio's born via IVF (try explaining that to kids).

A lot can happen in those 13 years after Kio was born, including Asemu's death/disappearance.

  26. well, I don't care which one got pregnant, lol.

ahem, but on more serious note,

Gundam age still has long way to the end. I prefer it have some twist in story.
Like what if Asemu goes to dark side, and become the bad guy. Remember that he's blonde too, just put mask and he'll be the next Char. He also shown to have negative behavior at some points in story.

That might be the reason why he's not shown in season 3 character rooster.
